To Avoid Prison, You Must Read This Before Taking Your Money Out of the Bank

Can you find yourself in the picture? Don't be "that guy". These people will end up living under a cardboard box or they will forced to go to a FEMA camp for food and water.

Most people, who are familiar with Jade Helm, understand that it will take a precipitating event (e.g. false flag) in order for the “drill” to go live. And most would agree that the precipitating event will be tied to an economic collapse of the dollar.

When the collapse comes, order will have to be restored, hence, enter Jade Helm. Once America reaches this point, your money will be gone along with the 401K, Roth IRA and all retirement accounts will be confiscated. Jade Helm, or its successor will be needed.

The Most Requested Subject In the History of The Common Sense Show

Since I wrote the June 12th articleSurviving the Jade Helm Era Depends On Taking Your Money Out of the Bank”, I have been inundated with requests for more information on how to get your money out of the bank. If you think your money is safe while sitting in the bank, you desperately need to read the aforementioned article. Please note, that I am not a financial planner, I am simply informing the public of what I have learned on the topic of  federal bank withdrawals and the legalities connected with withdrawing your money from the bank. The following represents what I have either done, or will do, in the coming days.

There is no doubt that anyone who leaves all of their money in the bank needs their head examined. However, if you walk up to your “friendly” teller  and ask to withdraw all, or most, of your money, you will either be shown the door and/or arrested for violating federal banking laws. Yes, it is now a crime to take your own money out of your own bank account, just ask former Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert who has been indicted for taking HIS money out of HIS bank account.

Even Congressmen Aren’t Safe From the Banksters

Former Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert, is headed to prison for taking his money out of his own bank account!

Federal prosecutors have charged a former Republican House speaker, Dennis Hastert, with illegally structuring cash withdrawals from bank accounts which were designed to conceal payments to someone he committed “prior misconduct” against and Hastert is also accused of lying to the FBI about the event. The indictment did not specify who Hastert was paying off for his prior misconduct, but anonymous sources allege that Hastert had sexual contact with a minor when he was a high school wrestling coach and the former student was extorting the former Congressman. A total of $3.5 million was involved according to the prosecutors. The important point to consider here is that this former Congressmen is not headed to prison for sex with a minor, or facilitating a bribe, he is headed to prison for TAKING HIS OWN MONEY OUT OF HIS BANK ACCOUNT!

Just how can one steal their own money, according to the Federal Government? That is what Deborah T. thought when she wrote the following to me on June 13th.

Dear Dave,

Please suggest what I should do.  I cashed out my $10,000 IRA, paid the taxes  and  got the $10,000 in CASH….worried about not being able to get my money out of the bank.  Now from what I have been hearing I am afraid I could be arrested for getting my own money out… Please make a suggestion.  Should I redeposit the $10,000? Forever grateful if you will answer.

Deborah T.

Deborah should be concerned with going to prison. There is no question that you need totake the majority of your money out of the bank, but what are the pitfalls in doing so? What should every American know prior to attempting to liberate the fruits of their own labor from the bankster controlled central bank?

Times Have Changed

Taking what was your money out of the bank is no longer a matter of walking up to your friendly teller with a withdrawal slip and the teller cheerfully honors your request and you calmly exit the bank with your money in tow. In fact, your teller is trained to look for certain indicators in any cash withdrawal of any significance.

As you move to withdraw the bulk of your money, there are three federal banking laws that you should be cognizant of, namely, Cash Transaction Report (CTR), a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) and structuring. Before proceeding with the planed withdrawal of your money, I would strongly suggest that you read the following federal guidelines as it relates to CTR’s as produced by the The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). All the federal regulations contained in this article are elucidated in this series of federal reports.

Before withdrawing your money, please be aware of these three regulations related to getting your money out of the bank.

CTR

Federal law requires that the bank file a report based upon any withdrawal or deposit of $10,000 or more on any single given day.The law was designed to put a damper on money laundering, sophisticated counterfeiting and other federal crimes.

To remain in compliance with the law, financial institutions must obtain personal identification, information about the transaction and the social security number of the person conducting the transaction.

Technically, there is no federal law prohibiting the use of large amounts of cash. However, a CTR must be filed in ALL cases of cash transaction regardless of the reason underlying the transaction. This means your cash transaction will be on the radar.

Structuring and SAR

There will undoubtedly be some geniuses whose math ability will tell them that all they have to do is to withdraw $9,999.99 and the bank and its protector, the federal government will be none the wiser. It is not quite that simple. Here are a few examples of structuring violations that one should be aware of:

1. Barry S. has obtained $15,000 in cash he obtained from selling his truck. He knows that if he deposits $15,000 in cash, his financial institution will be required to file a CTR. Instead he deposits $7,500 in cash in the morning with one financial institution employee and comes back to the financial institution later in the day to another employee to deposit the remaining $7,500, hoping to evade the CTR reporting requirement. Barry should have used multiple accounts to conduct this transaction.
2. Hillary C. needs $16,000 in cash to pay for supplies for her arts and crafts business. Hillary cashes an $8,000 personal check at a financial institution on a Monday. She subsequently cashes another $8,000 personal check at the bank the following day. Hillary is careful to have cashed the two checks on different days and structured the transactions in an attempt to evade the CTR reporting requirement. Hillary should have made irregular deposits on staggered days covering a significant period of time. Or better, yet she should convert her soon worthless cash to precious metals.
3. A married couple, Bill and Hillary, sell a vehicle for $12,000 in cash. To evade the CTR reporting requirement, Bill and Hillary structure their transactions using different accounts. Bill deposits $8,000 of that money into his and Hillary’s joint account in the morning. Later that day, Hillary deposits $1,500 into the joint account, then $2,500 into her sister’s account, which is later transferred to Bill and Hillary’s joint account at the same bank. Again, Bill and Hillary should have used multiple banks.
The aggregate total of the three transactions totals more than the $10,000 threshold, therefore, a SAR would be filed by the bank and you would be the subject of a federal investigation as all three of the above cases clearly violate the federal banking laws related to structuring. It is a federal crime to break up transactions into smaller amounts for the purpose of evading the CTR reporting requirement. In these instances, the bank is required to file a SAR which serves to notify the federal government of an individual’s attempt to structure deposits or withdrawals by circumventing the $10,000 reporting requirement.

Structuring transactions to prevent a CTR from being reported can result in imprisonment for not more than five years and/or a fine of up to $250,000. If structuring involves more than $100,000 in a twelve month period or is performed while violating another law of the federal government, the penalty is doubled. This is what former Speaker of the House, Dennnis Hastert is facing.

Enforcement

uncle same civilian asset forfeitureMuch like the enforcement of our tax laws, the federal government’s enforcement of its banking laws as it relates to CTR’s, SAR’s and subsequent structuring is quite draconian.Civilian asset forfeiture laws come into play. The government can seize your bank accounts while it determines if a crime has been committed. The government can literally seize your assets in perpetuity without an order of the court. Of course, you could try and sue but you will be up against the deep pockets of the federal government and the case could take years. By the time your case is decided, the financial banking crisis that you are so desperately trying to avoid by withdrawing your money, could be over.  So, proceed with caution.

If you ever become the target of a federal investigation, do not, under any circumstances, allow yourself to be interviewed by federal officials without an attorney present and make sure you have the interview videotaped.

In many cases, people go to jail and pay huge fines, not because they have committed a federal crime, but because federal officials state that they have lied or misled them. And if you do not have an attorney present, it is your word versus the federal government. This is how the federal government sent Martha Stewart to prison and Hastert is facing similar charges.

What to Do

The best way to avoid getting your money caught in the bank in the midst of a bank run would be to not let the lion’s share of your money ever cross the bank. Do not allow your employer to direct deposit your check to the bank. Keep some cash at home by taking out a large portion of the money you receive from your employer. Don’t put cash in a safety box because the courts have also ruled that the banks own your safety boxes.

Use electronic transfers to buy into a mutual funds and also use checks to buy silver coins.

Open multiple banking accounts ranging from the big five megabanks to your local credit unions. You could withdraw much smaller amounts until the sum total of your accounts is greatly diminished and is in your possession. Even though the banks “talk” to each other, if the withdrawals are irregular, it is hard to track and substantiate a pattern in court. To open the accounts, simply write a personal check from your home bank. Of course, in these cases, the bank could hold the check for 15-30 days.

Use checks and cash to pay all of your debts. Your want to lower your debt load while unloading your soon to be worthless cash.

Prepay your taxes and some other obligations with checks. Make sure you only pay safe entities. Your local government is not going to disappear, even in a depression. Therefore, you can prepay property taxes. Should you lose the ability to pay your property tax, the government will seize your property for nonpayment.

There will be a post-collapse America, therefore, purchase gold and silver. Gold and silver will be accepted mediums of exchange. Write checks to purchase gold and silver. However, collect the actual silver and gold because if you cannot touch it, you do not own it!

Find a safer bank than the mega banks. Use credit unions as they are one level removed from the Federal Reserve.  .

Please add to the list with your comments.

Conclusion

I predict the Federal Reserve will steal your money by faking a cyber attack. In fact FEMA and DHS actually practiced for this event on October 23rd and 24th of 2013. As I wrote on June 12, the Federal Reserve, the FDIC and the Bank of London practiced for widespread banking failure on November 10, 2014. On November 16, 2014, the G20 nations declared your bank deposits to not be money. On August 8, 2012, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the banks own your money when you deposit your paycheck into the bank.

You may not be able to save everything, but rest assured, you can still save something to live on. The time to have acted was yesterday.

I can anticipate what some of you are now thinking, because I have thought the same thing!  If all of us attempt to take even just a portion out of the bank, the Federal Reserve and their servant, the federal government, will move to stop all cash withdrawals. Won’t that kind of move serve to expose the criminality of the Federal Reserve and the federal government for all to see? Awareness is the first step to action and we have the ability to force several issues out in the open at this time.

Ex-Muslim Ayaan Hirsi Ali advises Canada-maintain active surveillance of all mosques and Islamic schools | BARE NAKED ISLAM

IslamAyaanHirsiAliBNI140413-viAyaan Hirsi Ali, a former devout Muslim, best-selling author, ex-politician, and now a fellow at Harvard University’s JFK School of Government, warns that the violent doctrine of Islam is spreading in Canada through the foundation of mosques, Islamic centres and Islamic schools by wealthy Gulf state investors with the most radical of extremist goals.

umblr_mbdispjbw91r43i2eo1_1280-vi

Ottawa Citizen  Hirsi Ali says, “You should be looking out for the sprouting of mosques and Islamic centres. You should be looking out for the establishment of Islamic schools and anything that costs money,” she said via a video link from Boston. “Countries like Saudi Arabia and the oil-wealthy Gulf countries that have absolutely everything that money can buy, yet many of them choose, for their philanthropy, radical Islamic goals, institutions, activities, jihad.

“For the outside, for the non-Muslim, especially in the West where we believe in the freedom of religion and the freedom of conscience, when people come here and establish a network of schools, Islamic centres, mosques, it all falls within our freedoms and our laws but we rarely take an interest in the content of what is being preached and what’s being disseminated.”

Ayaan-Hirsi-Ali

Hirsi Ali warned Canadian parliamentarians that some North American Muslim communities are heavily influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood and “Medina Muslims” who advocate abandoning mainstream social values, beliefs and customs to follow their strict interpretation of Islam, including holy war against the West.

Effectively combating radical influences and the resulting spread of Islamic terrorism has not, and will not, happen until Canada, the United States and other western nations really define what the problem is and how to identify it, she told the committee.

“Medina Muslims,” are comprised of fundamentalists and radicals, both violent and non-violent, who at a minimum want to live under sharia law, which dictates moral, economic, military and social behaviour.

Beginning in the seventh century, the Prophet Muhammed and the then-new religion of Islam used the Saudi Arabian city as a base to conquer enemy armies and their empires. Its name is now shorthand for the militarization of Islam that modern Medina Muslims want to replicate, she said.

“I don’t know how big the Medina group is, I think today it’s much bigger than it was after 9/11.” “It will be too late to focus on the Medina Muslims only after they engage in acts of jihad, but I would like us to start focusing on them early on … in the weeks, the months and the years that they are preaching, preparing and cultivating the minds of young people.”

“If an imam or a mosque or a Muslim centre is teaching that absolutely everything that’s in the Quran, particularly in Medina, and absolutely everything that the Prophet Muhammad said and did, particularly in Medina, is what the practice of Islam is, then you should have red flags all over the place.”

In addition, “If they’re preaching sharia law, even though it’s Canada where it seems inconceivable to practice sharia law, you have a red flag.”

obama

A random survey of 100 representative mosques in the U.S. was conducted to measure the correlation between Sharia adherence and dogma calling for violence against non-believers.  Of the 100 mosques surveyed, 51% had texts on site rated as severely advocating violence; 30% had texts rated as moderately advocating violence; and 19% had no violent texts at all.  Mosques that presented as Sharia adherent were more likely to feature violence-positive texts on site than were their non-Sharia-adherent counterparts.

In 84.5% of the mosques, the imam recommended studying violence-positive texts.  The leadership at Sharia-adherent mosques was more likely to recommend that a worshipper study violence-positive texts than leadership at non-Sharia-adherent mosques.  Fifty-eight percent of the mosques invited guest imams known to promote violent jihad.  The leadership of mosques that featured violence-positive literature was more likely to invite guest imams who were known to promote violent jihad than was the leadership of mosques that did not feature violence-positive literature on mosque premises.

‘Greatest constitutional document of all times’

King John signing Magna Carta, June 15, 1215 A.D.

England was invaded by “Dane” Vikings from Scandinavia who destroyed churches, libraries and defeated all opposition except for 23-year-old King Alfred.

Forced into the swampy, tidal marshes of Somerset, Alfred, king of the Anglos and Saxons, began a resistance movement in 878 A.D. According to biographer Bishop Asser, “Alfred attacked the whole pagan army fighting ferociously in dense order, and by divine will eventually won the victory.”

Alfred drove the Danes back to England’s coastal area of East Anglia, where he gave their King Guthrum the choice of sailing back to Scandinavia or converting to Christianity. He chose the latter.

Afterwards, King Alfred the Great wrote his Law Code, drawing from as far back in history as:

  • Lucius King of Britons (c.156 AD) “prayed and entreated … he might be made a Christian”
  • St. Patrick’s Celtic “Senchus Mor” laws (c.438 AD)
  • Laws of Æthelberht of Kent (c.602 AD) – the first Saxon king in England to be baptized, by St. Augustine of Canterbury
  • Laws of Christian King Ine of Wessex (c.694 AD)
  • Laws of Christian King Offa of Mercia (c.755 AD)

King Alfred the Great, who began the University of Oxford, included in the preface to his Law Code the Ten Commandments, parts of the Book of Exodus, Christ’s Sermon on the Mount and the Acts of the Apostles.

King Alfred wrote: “These are judgments which Almighty God Himself spoke to Moses and commanded him to keep. Now, since the Lord’s only begotten Son our God and healing Christ has come to Middle Earth (the Mediterranean world) He said that He did not come to break nor to forbid these commandments but to approve them well, and to teach them with all mild-heartedness and lowly-mindedness.”

King Alfred’s Law is considered the basis for English Common Law as it contained concepts such as liberty of the individual family and church, a decentralized government and equal justice for all under the law: “Doom very evenly! Do not doom one doom to the rich; another to the poor! Nor doom one doom to your friend; another to your foe!”

Winston Churchill wrote in his Nobel Prize-winning book, “A History of the English Speaking Peoples” (1956, vol. 1): “King Alfred’s Book of Laws … as set out in the existing laws of Kent, Wessex, and Mercia, attempted to blend the Mosaic code with Christian principles and old Germanic customs.”

Around the year 911 A.D., on the opposite side of the English Channel, “Norse” Vikings, called “Normans,” invaded an area that came to be called Normandy, in northern France. The Normans eventually became Christians.

In 1066, the Norman king, William the Conqueror, crossed the English Channel and invaded England. He replaced King Alfred’s law with a feudal system of government which concentrated power into the hands of the king. This continued in England till the Magna Carta.

While England’s King Richard the Lionheart was away fighting the Muslims in the Third Crusade, his brother John was left in charge. The legend of Robinhood is considered to have originated during this time period.

Richard the Lionheart returned to England in 1192, but was killed in 1199, leaving King John to rule.

Though the Normans had originally come from Normandy over a century earlier, King John lost Normandy and almost all the other English possessions to King Philip II of France by 1205. England’s barons became so frustrated by this loss and by King John’s absolute and arbitrary power that they surrounded him on the plains of Runnymede. There they forced him to sign the Magna Carta, the great charter of English liberties, on June 15, 1215.

British judge, Lord Denning, described the Magna Carta as “the greatest constitutional document of all times – the foundation of the freedom of the individual against the arbitrary authority of the despot.”

The Magna Carta limited the unbridled centralized power of the king. It began the process of redefining government’s purpose from dominating people’s lives into guaranteeing individual rights, culminating in the U.S. Constitution.

The Magna Carta, Clause 1: “the English Church shall be free, and shall have its rights undiminished, and its liberties unimpaired” is reflected in the First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 6: “If we, our chief justice, our officials, or any of our servants offend in any respect against any man … and the offense is made known to four of the said twenty-five barons, they shall come to us – or in our absence from the kingdom to the chief justice – to declare it and claim immediate redress” is reflected in the First Amendment: “and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 12: “No scutage (tax) nor aid … shall be imposed on our kingdom, unless by common counsel of our kingdom” is reflected in the the Revolutionary phrase, “No taxation without representation” and the Declaration of Independence, “deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 13: “We also will and grant that all other cities, boroughs, towns, and ports shall enjoy all their liberties and free customs” is reflected in the U.S. Constitution, Article IV, Section 1: “Full faith and credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State” and Article IV, Section 2: “The citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 20: “For a trivial offence, a free man shall be fined only in proportion to the degree of his offence, and for a serious offence correspondingly, but not so heavily as to deprive him of his livelihood” is reflected in the Eighth Amendment: “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 28: “No constable or other bailiff … shall take corn or other provisions from anyone without immediately tendering money” is reflected in the Fifth Amendment: “nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 38: “No official shall place a man on trial upon his own unsupported statement, without producing credible witnesses to the truth of it” is reflected in the Sixth Amendment: “In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right … to be confronted with the witnesses against him.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 39: “No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any other way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land” is reflected in the Fifth Amendment: “(N)or shall any person … be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law” and the Fourteenth Amendment: “nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.”

The Magna Carta, Clause 40: “To no one will we sell, to no one deny or delay right or justice” is reflected in the Sixth Amendment: “In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial.”’

The U.S. Supreme Court wrote in Bank of Columbia v. Okely, 17 U.S. 235, 244 (1819): “The words from Magna Carta … were intended to secure the individual from the arbitrary exercise of the powers of government, unrestrained by the established principles of private right and distributive justice.”

In over 100 U.S. Supreme Court decisions, the Magna Carta is referenced regarding due process of law, trial by jury of one’s peers, the importance of a speedy and unbiased trial and protection against excessive bail or fines or cruel and unusual punishment.

Justice William J. Brennan, Jr., stated in a rededication address to the American Bar Association’s Memorial to the Magna Carta (19 Loy. L.A. L. Rev. 55, 1985): “The Magna Carta, in Bryce’s words, ‘was the starting point of the constitutional history.’ … Throughout the 196 year history of the Supreme Court of the United States, the bedrock principles of the Magna Carta have had and continue to have, a profound influence over the Justices’ deliberations.”

The Magna Carta ends: “… for the salvation of our souls, and the souls of all our … heirs, and unto the honor of God.”

Who Really Are Abraham’s Heirs?

Why has a portion of the church looked to replace Israel in God's plans in the End Times? Why has a portion of the church looked to replace Israel in God’s plans in the end times? (iStock photo)

The Torah portion (in Judaism there is a yearly calendar for reading the Torah) from a few weeks ago focused on Isaac. The Lord speaks to him in Genesis 26:

“For I will give to you and all your descendants all these lands, and I will fulfill the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of the heavens and will give your descendants all these lands. By your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” (Gen. 26:3b-5).

In this promise to Isaac, the Lord affirms, that the promise to Abraham of the physical land of Israel, is meant for Isaac’s physical descendants, whom he declares will be as numerous as the stars of the sky, adding that through them, all nations on earth will be blessed.

In last week’s Torah reading, God affirms these promises to natural Israel to Jacob, Abraham’s grandson:

“The Lord stood above it and said, “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie, to you will I give it and to your descendants. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south, and in you and in your descendants all the families of the earth will be blessed” (Gen. 28:13-14).

This is very significant for several reasons:

One man can’t be as many as the stars in the sky. Those who embrace Fulfillment Theology (a more polite version of Replacement Theology) claim that all the promises to Abraham were fulfilled in the person of Yeshua on the cross. In other words, according to one of their leading theologians, the land promises are no longer to the Jews, but to all believers. And they no longer refer to Israel, but the whole world.

There is no argument that Abraham has spiritual children—believers in the Messiah from all nations—and that the most precious fulfillment of Abrahamic promise is in Yeshua and His followers. But the promises we see here are to Abraham’s physical son and grandson and to his physical seed—which would be like the stars and spread out through the east, north and south, meaning it was not merely to one person, Yeshua, as Fulfillment theologians claim—and it clearly refers to the physical land of Israel and multiple recipients.

To Abraham, the Lord promises to make his seed as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore.”

The DNA is in—Jews are Jews. These passages also confirm that Israel will remain a significant nation in the future. Why is this important? Because there are many who claim that present day Israelis are not really Jews. The theory is that a massive group of Europeans called Khazars converted to Judaism.

The story is that the ruling class of the Khazars, who formed Southern Russia empire in the eighth century, converted to Judaism. According to this myth, the entire community of Khazars converted and their descendants now make up what we know as Ashkenazi or European Jewry—like me.

The first problem here is that only about half of Israelis are European Jews. The other half come from all over the Middle East and Africa. What’s more is that scientists have now proved through DNA tests that 75 percent of all European Jewish men come from the Middle East—not southern Russia. And biblically, Jews must still be in Jerusalem when Yeshua returns (Zech. 12:10, 14:1-4).

How can they be in Israel as Zechariah says, if the land of Israel is not promised to them and those possessing today are imposters? In Matthew 23:39, Yeshua says that the Jews will see Him again when they confess, “Blessed is He (Yeshua) that comes in the name of the Lord.” How can that happen if they don’t exist?

In addition to the dozens of promises where God says He will bring the Jews back into their own land (Ez. 36:24ff, Jer. 30) he affirms with Isaac the physical land of Israel as a gift from God: “To you an your descendants I will give all these lands.”

So the idea that the supernatural return of Jews from all over the world is really just an elaborate hoax or amazing coincidence in which God had no hand is absurd. It would have to mean that there is another identifiable Jewish group out there that has yet to claim the land—not possible.

If only the boycotters were to truly boycott. And lastly, the Replacement/Fulfillment camp claims that the Jewish people were a blessing to the world by bringing forth the Messiah and therefore, I guess, have fulfilled their purpose and are no longer needed. Another reason, as some claim, is because ofJewish rejection of Jesus (which wasn’t as widespread as some think). God has cursed Israel and cast them aside. It is true that the most powerful fulfillment of the prophecy to be a blessing to the nations was through Yeshua, however God continues to use Israel to bless the world in so many other ways.

In fact, Israel is the leading nation in the world (per capita) providing technological breakthrough in communications and medicine. Fifteen percent of all Nobel Peace Prize winners were Jewish, despite making up only .03 percent of the world’s population. After decades of worrying yearly if we would have enough rainfall, Israel now desalinates seawater and many of our cities use this for drinking water.

If all of those calling for a boycott against Israel were to truly stop using products that Israel profits from they would need to get rid of their cellphones, stop using instant messaging and should go homeopathic, because it is unlikely that receiving medical attention would be completely Judenfrei—free from Jewish influence.

You see, Paul said that that God’s calling on ethnic Israel is irrevocable (Rom. 11:29), and that was after Yeshua died and rose from the dead. Yet Fulfillment Theology says that all the promises to Abraham were fulfilled in full on the cross. Clearly Paul did not agree with this view as he affirms several times in Romans 9-11 of God’s continued love and calling on natural Israel. He even predicts in Romans 11 that the future church would seek to erase Israel’s from God’s plan. And that has happened.

No Place for Pride

Often when I write on this topic some wrongly assume that I am claiming Jewish superiority. God forbid. This is not at all about Jews being better than those from the nations—called Abraham and His descendants because of His desire to reach the nations. This is about God’s faithfulness. God’s hand on Israel is not because of Jewish obedience or righteousness, but for God’s glory.

24 Reasons Why Hell Is Real

Some false teachers today would like us to think that everybody will eventually get to heaven. Don’t believe them.

William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army and a man who dedicated his life to lifting the poor out of sin and poverty, reportedly made this statement: “Most Christian organizations would like to send their workers to Bible college for five years. I would like to send our workers to hell for five minutes. That would prepare them for a lifetime of compassionate ministry.”

Booth never suggested that the desperate people he served were “already in hell.” He believed in a real, eternal hell, and it drove him to rescue people from both their current plight and future perdition.

Shortly before his death in 1912, Booth warned prophetically that he saw coming to the church “forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration … a heaven without a hell.”

In today’s theological fog, his ominous caveat is unfolding. Even some who claim to believe the Bible are having second thoughts about eternal judgment, and others have rejected the notion of judgment altogether. The name usually given this teaching is Universalism.

Universalism basically is the belief that all people will be saved. Jesus’ death and resurrection will automatically, or at least eventually, save the whole human race. Personal repentance and faith in Christ are not necessary for going to heaven. The Christian mission is reduced to announcing to people the “good news” that they are already saved.

But does Scripture teach that everyone will be saved? There is overwhelming biblical evidence to the contrary.

I’d like to offer 24 reasons to reject Universalism. You may be able to add a few of your own.

1. Jesus made both repentance and faith prerequisites for forgiveness. “Unless you repent you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3, NKJV). “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15).

2. The “water of life” is offered to all, but not all receive it or even desire it. “Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely” (Rev. 22:17).

3. Scripture teaches that there will be a judgment after death. “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Heb. 9:27).

4. Those who have not had a true conversion will experience a judgment for sin that the Bible describes as “the second death.” “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” (Rev. 21:8).

5. Contrary to Universalist beliefs, Jesus’ teaching indicates that most of humanity is on a broad path that leads to destruction. “‘Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, “Lord, Lord, open for us,” and He will answer and say to you, “I do not know you, where you are from. … Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity”‘” (Luke 13:24-27).

6. Jesus spoke often of a terrible place of judgment for those outside His kingdom rule. “‘The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth'” (Matt. 13:41-42).

7. The Bible teaches both the love of God and His sure judgment of sin. Trusting in Christ’s payment for our sins saves us from this coming judgment. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” (Rom. 5:8-9).

8. In one of the most loving verses in the Bible, Jesus issues eternal options. “‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life'” (John 3:16).

9. Scripture teaches that there is unending, eternal judgment for those who do not know God and who do not respond in faith to the gospel. “The Lord Jesus [will be] revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power” (2 Thess. 1:7-9).

10. Jesus emphatically taught that a spiritual birth is essential to entering the kingdom of heaven. “‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God'” (John 3:3).

11. In answer to a very clear question about what is necessary for salvation, Paul gave a very clear answer: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts. 16:31).

12. Jesus gave no indication that many roads lead to God. He forcefully stated that He was the only way. “‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me'” (John 14:6).

13. The early preachers of the church clearly preached that Jesus is the only way to salvation. “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12; see also 1 Tim. 2:5; Heb. 2:3-4; 1 Pet. 1:3-5).

14. According to Scripture, only those who receive Jesus Christ and believe in Him are children of God. “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).

15. The gospel is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Rom. 1:16; see also 10:9).

16. Rather than teaching that those without faith in Christ are already saved, the Bible teaches that they are already under judgment. Faith in Christ brings us out of condemnation and into right relationship with God. “‘He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God'” (John 3:18).

17. Only those whose names are in the Lamb’s Book of Life are granted access into the eternal city of God. “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” (Rev. 20:15; see also 21:27).

18. People are not automatically righteous. Only when we declare faith in Jesus Christ does God declare us righteous in His sight. “But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness” (Rom. 4:5).

19. Eternal life comes only through a relationship with God. We cannot know the Father unless we know the Son. “‘And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent'” (John 17:3).

20. The cross of Christ is where payment for our sins was made. Only when we believe this are we saved. “‘And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up [on a cross], that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life'” (John 3:14-15).

21. Only those who have the Son of God have eternal life. “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:11-12).

In addition to these verses, the story of Cornelius in Acts 10 and 11 provides hard evidence against Universalism. Cornelius was devout, prayed often, gave generously to the poor and even received an angelic visitation. Yet God went to great lengths to get the gospel to him so he could come to know Jesus and be saved.

22. Added to the avalanche of scriptural evidence, there are also practical reasons for rejecting Universalism. History teaches that acceding to Universalism sets the church on a slippery slide toward theological liberalism. Soon all confidence in Scripture is lost and the uniqueness of the Christian gospel evaporates.

23. If we embrace Universalism, there is no urgency to evangelize or imperative to do missions. In fact, evangelism and missions would have to be redefined. We need look no further than most of the mainline denominations to see what happens to evangelism when Universalism is prevalent.

24. If Universalism is finally proved right, nothing will have been lost by our continued urgency in winning people to faith in Christ. But if it is false and we embrace it, then everything will be forever lost–including people who do not know Christ.

Unbroken Hearts

It needs to be said clearly that God’s character is not on trial. The judge of all the earth will do what is right (see Gen. 18:25). Our faith is on trial. Our hearts are on trial. But God is not on trial. Whatever judgment He makes regarding those who have not responded to the gospel will be executed according to His standards of equally perfect righteousness and love.

When we ponder God’s mercy, this whole issue is inverted. Because God is perfectly holy, the wonder is not that some will be lost. The greater wonder is that anyone from rebellious humanity will be saved! Only Christ’s work on the cross could reconcile us to God.

God has put down the most massive roadblock possible to stop humanity’s mad rush toward hell. He sent His Son. God intervened personally through Christ. His sacrifice on the cross paid the penalty for our sins. This is the good news for all who will believe and receive Him.

Espousing Universalism is sad. But rejecting it with no impact on our hearts or change in our priorities is sinister. If we believe that people are lost outside of Christ (and they are), and that faith in Christ is the only way of salvation (and it is), what could possibly be a higher priority than getting the gospel as far as we can as fast as we can?

To pronounce people “saved” who are obviously enslaved by darkness, deception and the devil is surely the cruelest of jokes. We are sent to a lost world with a gospel of power. Our message gives the spiritually blind their sight and liberates those who are chained by Satan. We do not preach that people are forgiven but that they can be forgiven.

I would not want to stand before Jesus Christ as a Universalist. But neither would I want to stand before the Lord as an evangelical who was not evangelistic. What a serious accounting must await us if we believe in eternal torment for those without faith in Christ–and yet do nothing! A recovery of biblical truth and compassionate evangelism are the twin screaming needs of the American church.

The apostle Paul said he would be willing to give up his place in Christ if by such a sacrifice others would be saved (see Rom. 9:2-3). He believed all people outside Christ were lost, and it left him with a broken heart.

More than encroaching Universalism, it is our unbroken hearts that often impede evangelism. Many Christians today have never even heard of “a burden for the lost.” The harvest is huge and ready to be reaped by those who are willing to sow first in tears (see Ps. 126:5-6).

Right theology will only indict us if we do not recapture the evangelistic imperative. We must believe the truth, and we must act on what we believe. Let’s not just reject faulty theology; let’s embrace those who need Jesus.

Whatever Happened To the Ten Commandments?

MANY PEOPLE TODAY CAN’T EVEN LIST THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. WE MUST TEACH YOUNGER BELIEVERS THAT GOD’S MORAL LAWS ARE AS IMPORTANT TODAY AS THEY WERE WHEN GOD GAVE THEM TO MOSES.

A few months ago I read an article in a national newspaper that surprised me. A television talk show commentator had interviewed a number of people in nightclubs and other places on the street. He asked each the same question, “Can you name one of the Ten Commandments?”

I was deeply grieved to learn that no one he interviewed could quote any of God’s laws. The ones who tried were way off base.

What has happened to us as a nation? We have only to listen to the news to realize that we are ignoring the societal boundaries God set up for us to follow. No wonder we suffer from lawlessness!

The most horrific example we have had in recent times of the consequences of not following the Ten Commandments occurred on April 20, 1999, in Littleton, Colorado. The sixth commandment, “You shall not murder” (Deut. 5:17, NKJV), was blatantly broken by two high school boys who went on a killing spree at their high school. At the end of the day one teacher and 14 students were killed, and at least 23 were injured.

The year before last I began to wonder if the young people of this nation understand the meaning of the Ten Commandments. Could they explain them to me? I wondered. How many have broken one or more of them?

My questions resulted in my preaching a message on the Ten Commandments at a youth congress. I told the young people who attended, “These are laws–God’s laws–not mere suggestions.” At the end of the sermon I extended an invitation to those who had broken at least one of the commandments.

What happened absolutely shocked me. The front was full of young men and women on their knees weeping and repenting before God for breaking His laws!

I realized then that we have lost our way as a society because the plumb line that is a standard against relativism has been taken out of our nation’s belief system. I had identified this problem before–as many of you undoubtedly have–but I hadn’t comprehended how deep the problem had become among so-called “Christian” kids.

HOLD UP THE PLUMB LINE As you read and study each of the Ten Commandments with me, I want you to think about what you see, hear and listen to each day. If it does not line up with God’s Word, it has a deeply polluting effect on you whether you want it to or not.

I often tell people that we need to not only read God’s Word but also read God’s world in light of His Word. We need to hold up the plumb line of His law in our society once again and use it to evaluate all that comes into our eye and ear gates.

Most of you know that God called Moses up to the top of Mount Horeb to give him the Ten Commandments. There, the finger of God etched His laws on tablets of stone–not wood or parchment–so that they could be passed down from generation to generation. He wanted His people to abide by these laws through the ages.

But why? The Israelites had been living in bondage in Egypt under an idolatrous system that was full of sinful practices. God wanted them to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation (see Ex. 19:6). The laws were designed to help them become the people God wanted them to be.

First Commandment. You shall have no other gods before Me (Ex. 20:3).

In this commandment God states that He is the one and only God. Everything belongs to Him, as Psalm 24:1 says: “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.” This is a statement of ownership that demands our submission to His law. Anyone who worships another god before Him is guilty of the sin of idolatry.

Second Commandment. You shall not make for yourself a carved image–any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth (v. 4).

Here God elaborates on the First Commandment by describing what He considers idolatry–the making of any image for the sake of worship. In his book, Hard Core Idolatry (Wagner Institute for Practical Ministry), C. Peter Wagner says he believes these commandments are listed first because idolatry is the sin God hates most.

People in nations all over the world worship other gods. Many of these are female goddesses described in Revelation 17:1-2. The Bible says that they are the great harlot who sits on many waters with whom the kings of the earth commit fornication.

Third Commandment. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain (v. 7).

This is one commandment we see broken regularly on television. People use God’s name as if it had no meaning.

Have you ever wondered why people do not curse with the name of Buddha or some other false god? It’s because Satan isn’t interested in damaging the reputation of a false god. He wants to throw curses at the living God.

Many times when I have rebuked young people for using the Lord’s name as a curse word they have said, “But Cindy, I don’t mean anything by it.” That is exactly the point. God’s name is so holy that we never want to use it lightly.

Fourth Commandment. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (v. 8).

This is the commandment that Christians most neglect. Years ago it was so carefully observed that many fell into legalism. Jesus warned about this when He said that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

However, the pendulum has swung so far the other way now that we don’t rest at all. God modeled resting for us when He rested on the seventh day after creating the world–even though He didn’t need to.

Fifth Commandment. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you (v. 12).

This is often called “the commandment with a promise.” It says that if we honor our parents, we will live a long life. It also implies the opposite: If we dishonor our parents, we will not live a long life. That’s a sobering thought, isn’t it?

Honor is something we seem to have lost an understanding of through the decades. Rather than respecting the elderly, we call them names such as “old man” and “old lady” in a derogatory tone. We need to restore honor to our nation.

Sixth Commandment. You shall not murder (v. 13).

This Scripture says it is wrong to take another’s life. We have watched so many murders on television and in movies that we are desensitized to death. It doesn’t seem real. For this reason, I strongly object to movies that are extremely violent.

Often those in the military struggle with this law. But the verse doesn’t say you shall not kill; it says you shall not murder. The Bible is full of references to armies of men who were called by God to defend their nations, and they certainly had to kill people in order to obey His commands.

Seventh Commandment. You shall not commit adultery (v .14).

This commandment clearly forbids married persons from having sexual relations outside marriage. But it also implicitly warns against sexual impurity of any kind.

This goes against the grain for many believers. Much of the church has been so polluted by media that they watch movies that would have been considered pornographic in the 1940s. We compare ourselves with unbelievers and think we can watch R-rated movies because the world watches X-rated movies.

Jesus explained the Seventh Commandment in depth when he said that purity has to extend to the very thoughts we think (see Matt. 5:27-28). Otherwise, we commit spiritual adultery in our minds by entertaining lustful thoughts.

Eighth Commandment. You shall not steal (v. 15).

This commandment means that we are not to take what doesn’t belong to us. Inherent in it is the mandate to live a life full of integrity. Many Christians would deny that they steal, yet they take supplies from their workplaces, misuse telephone privileges by making personal calls from the office and so on.

Ninth Commandment. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor (v. 16).

This law commands us not to gossip, slander or say untrue and injurious things about a person.

Tenth Commandment. You shall not covet (v. 17).

Coveting can be a very subtle sin. It may start with a general discontentment with what we own or a concern that our relationship with our spouse or another person isn’t as good as someone else’s. Finally, we reach a state in which we are completely dissatisfied and so consumed with wanting what another person has that we become obsessed and lose our focus and joy.

LEADING THE WAY As adults, we must be responsible for leading the way–not only by keeping the Ten Commandments ourselves, but also by teaching them to our children and expecting them to follow suit. It is essential for us to give them a standard by which to measure their thoughts and actions, a yardstick to help them determine whether or not they have met the mark. We do not want them to become modern-day Pharisees, legalistic to a fault and ignoring the spirit of the law; however, we also do not want them to be completely lawless.

The important thing is to teach them that although we now live under the dispensation of grace, being no longer bound by the law (see Rom. 6:14), we are responsible for living holy lives based on the commandments God has given us (see v. 15). Jesus told us: “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matt. 5:17-18). He went on to tell us His expectations of us:

“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven” (vv. 19-20).

Jesus clearly taught us to follow the Ten Commandments; but He went beyond expounding on the letter of the law to explaining the spirit of it (see vv. 21-48). This is what we must do in “laying down the law” for our children so that their righteousness will “exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees.”

It is not enough for them to learn simply not to break the law as it is written (for example, “You shall not murder”); they must understand what God really meant when He wrote it (“You shall not even be angry with your brother”). This is the only way to ensure that their training goes beyond controlling outward behavior to modifying the attitudes of the heart.

The Coming Collision Between Shaking and Glory

ThunderstormA violent collision is coming, but what will the result hold for you? (Flickr/texaus1)

There are diverse views on the End Times, including at least three different historical theological views concerning eschatology. Major different voices contend for our attention today, everything from escapism to run and hide, to replacement theology concerning Israel and the church, to ultimate reconciliation, to the absurdity that there is no literal hell, and on and on it goes. In this age of false acceptance, just about anything goes. After all, God is a God of Grace and Love, right? Yes, but He is also the God of Justice and Truth.

Let’s make sure we keep certain basic truths in place in the swirl of many opinions. I often find myself in the role of taking complex things and deciphering them into foundational simple and understandable truths. But for now let’s push a pause button on that subject, and let me give you a partial biblical perspective I hold. Yes—the Glory AND the Shaking Come Together! That’s clearly what the Word of God says.

FROM HAGGAI 2: 2-9

“Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people saying, ‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison? But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the Lord, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’ For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of hosts.”

LAYERS OF SCRIPTURAL INTERPRETATION

There are often layers to scriptural interpretation and application: the context of the historic setting, the prophetic perspective for both then and later on, the personal application for our own lives, and much more. Another principle in interpreting Scripture is: first in the Natural and second in the Spiritual.

Here in Haggai 2 we have the historic recordings concerning the first and the second temples. The first was grand in external splendor, an architectural wonder of all the ages. After the desolation and then a time of despair, a second temple was built—but it did not compare to the earlier grandeur. But the Word of the Lord came forth in that situation declaring that the latter glory of this house will be greater than the former. Bottom line:

  • The First Temple was Built in Grandeur

  • The First Temple was Destroyed

  • The Second Temple was Built—Appearing in the Natural as “nothing in comparison”

  • A Prophetic Declaration was released in the midst of disillusionment, “The Glory will be Greater!”

Likewise, the early church saw great glory followed by a great decline. Five hundred-plus years ago we stepped into a new era called the Great Reformation with such truths as “the just shall live by faith.” Now we are stepping into the Convergence of the Ages with accelerated movements and motion of the current-day operation of the Holy Spirit.

The pattern is similar in the natural and in the spiritual. Bottom line:

  • The First Apostolic Church was Birthed in Glory

  • The Church went into a Great Decline

  • The Second Apostolic Age Appears on the scene in Infancy and Controversy

  • A Prophetic Declaration is released in the midst of uncertain times: “The Glory will be Greater!”

It is my belief that in modern church history, we have crossed the threshold from the Third to the Beginning of the Fourth Great Wave. (See my article on The Beginning of the Fourth Wave. FROM JAMES 5: 7-11

“Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains. You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door. As an example, brethren, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.”

As I have read this passage over and over for years, there are at least seven things to glean in parallel understandings from these writings of James 5.

  • Be Wise

  • Be Patient

  • Strengthen Yourself

  • Continue

  • Do Not Complain

  • Look to the Model of Job

  • Know that the Lord’s Dealings ultimately result in Compassion and Mercy!

THE EARLY AND THE LATTER RAIN

In the natural, in the Middle East, the early rain falls from mid-October to mid-December. The purpose of the early rains is to soften the ground for plowing, and it waters the freshly seeded fields so the seeds can germinate. The latter rain falls from late February to early April. The purpose of the latter rains is to cause the grain to come into full growth and maturity and thus preparing for a harvest.

Jer. 5:24 proclaims, “They do not say in their heart, ‘Let us now fear the Lord our God, who gives rain in its season, both the autumn rain and the spring rain, who keeps for us the appointed weeks of the harvest.'”

So which is it? Shaking or Glory? Darkness or Light? Fear or Faith? Fatalism or Furious Love? Stagnation or Progressive Revelation? Lukewarm Churchianity or Passionate Believers with Hearts on Fire? Tribulation Generation or Hope Ambassadors Generation? Desolation or Restoration?

Oh my beloved, the Scriptures in the New Testament say that in the Last Days difficult times will come. But that is not the end of the story!

Yes, the shaking and the glory are on a collision course. But guess which force wins? Or maybe it should be stated, ‘But guess WHO wins?”

Is. 60: 1-3 says it really well. “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you; and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”

I see a glorious eschatology where light exposes darkness—and the glory of the Lord covers the Earth as the waters covers the seas. Amen and Amen!
