SENIOR CITIZENS ARE NOT TO BLAME!!!!!!!

image31

Senior citizens are constantly being criticized for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary.  We know we take responsibility for all we have done and do not blame others.

HOWEVER, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizens who took

The melody out of music,

The pride out of appearance,

The courtesy out of driving,

The romance out of love,

The commitment out of marriage,

The responsibility out of parenthood,

The togetherness out of the family,

The learning out of education,

The service out of patriotism,

The Golden Rule from rulers,

The nativity scene out of cities,

The civility out of behavior,

The refinement out of language,

The dedication out of employment,

The prudence out of spending,

The ambition out of achievement or

God out of government and school.

And we certainly are NOT the ones who eliminated patience and tolerance from personal relationships and interactions with others!!

And, we do understand the meaning of patriotism, and remember those who have fought and died for our country.

Just look at the Seniors with tears in their eyes and pride in their hearts as they stand at attention with their hand over their hearts!

YES, I’M A SENIOR CITIZEN!

I’m the life of the party….. Even if it lasts until 8 p.m.

I’m very good at opening childproof caps….. With a hammer.

I’m awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.

I’m smiling all the time because I can’t hear a thing you’re saying.

I’m sure everything I can’t find is in a safe secure place, somewhere.

I’m wrinkled, saggy, lumpy, and that’s just my left leg.

I’m beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.

Yes, I’m a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life!

MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA AND MAY AMERICA BLESS GOD!!!

John Hagee Shares New Revelation on Angels and Demons

John Hagee | Can America Survive Until 2017

Only three weeks after launch, Pastor John Hagee’s explosive new book, The Three Heavens: Angels, Demons and What Lies Ahead, topped Nielsen BookScan’s nationwide sales tracking for nonfiction religion trade paperbacks.

The Three Heavens, a blend of Bible, science and true stories, explores the ongoing battle between angelic and demonic forces. It was No. 2 on BookScan for all nonfiction religion books, No. 11 for all adult trade paperbacks.

The Three Heavens also is the highest-ranked Christian book on USA Today‘s best-seller list.

“Readers respond to the real-life stories of people who experienced heaven and came back to describe it,” said Hagee, New York Times best-selling author and founder of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio. “We all are fascinated to learn of the ages-long battle—continuing today—between angelic and demonic forces.”

The Three Heavens paints a vivid picture of this supernatural war, describing its effect today and in eternity.

In the First Heaven, Hagee explores what we see with our natural eyes: the beautiful, mysterious, majestic universe of sun, moon, stars and other celestial objects. In clear, engaging writing, he carries readers to the Third Heaven—Paradise, a place of eternal splendor—with firsthand accounts of people who died, saw the Third Heaven and returned.

Then comes the question: If there is a First Heaven and a Third Heaven, is there a Second? From extensive biblical knowledge, pastoral experience and a large network of expert colleagues, Hagee explores the Second Heaven—a battleground where an ongoing war between the forces of good and evil plays out … affecting us on earth now.

The Three Heavens is a biblically reasoned, vividly written exploration of how God’s enemies work; how God’s angels protect and defend; and ultimately what awaits those who accept His invitation to spend eternity with Him.

John Hagee is the author of multiple best-selling books. His most recent New York Times best-seller, Four Blood Moons, inspired a docudrama recently in theaters as a Fathom Event that sold out nationally, prompting a nationwide encore.

A Nation in Turmoil: How Will We Respond?

A woman praying at The Response Louisiana (Jay Johnston)

The book of Joel consists of only three chapters, yet it was written as a wake-up call to a nation in crisis. Joel pleaded for his nation to gather before God in a great sacred assembly. Their time of great crisis and need called for a corporate response—a response of corporate repentance and consecration before God.

Today, we are living in very challenging, critical and volatile times. Every day the news is filled with more human tragedy or disaster. Crises are escalating at an unprecedented rate. As the body of Christ, we must respond. We cannot afford to hit our snooze buttons any longer while ignoring the sounding warnings and alarms around us. In early 2011, Luis and Jill Cataldo from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri, David and Cindy Lane of The American Renewal Project, and others came to my office in Houston to discuss the importance of calling for a Joel 2 solemn assembly for our nation.

At first I was reluctant. I did not want another prayer event that ended up being more about preachers pontificating and politicians giving speeches. We agreed that we needed a call to prayer for a nation in crisis and that only one name was to be exalted and lifted up, Jesus!

On Aug. 6, 2011, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry trumpeted what became known as The Response: A call to prayer for a nation in crisis that was held at Reliant Stadium in Houston. More than 44,000 people gathered for prayer, worship and fasting.

Logos and egos were checked at the door in a posture of humility and holiness. It was amazing to see a multigenerational, multiethnic, multi-denominational gathering, all seeking and calling upon the name of the Lord. Many questioned the intent and purpose of The Response; including so-called political experts, atheists, gay rights advocates and even some Christian Pharisees. Each had their assumptions. I’ve learned that assumption can be the lowest form of knowledge.

While on a local television network with a professor from a well-known university and the president of an atheist organization, the professor charged that the event would be a white Tea-Party gathering, and that Gov. Perry was going to use The Response as an opportunity to announce his candidacy for president. To set things straight, I assured them that they were going to be surprised by The Response and invited them to come and see for themselves. I also shared that when the church gathers in proper alignment and posture before the Lord, even those who oppose us will benefit.

Now fast-forward three years. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, recognizing the need for prayer for America, invited the nation to pray at The Response Louisiana on Jan. 24 in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center at Louisiana State University. Jindal grew up a Hindu and became a Christian in his teens as he attended a nondenominational campus ministry church at LSU. He not only trumpeted The Response Louisiana: A call to prayer for a nation in crisis, but he sent letters to the other 49 governors to call for prayer as well.

In one of his other letters, he said, “Our nation is faced with fatherless homes, an epidemic of drugs and crime in our cities, a saturation of pornography, abortion, racism—Jesus Christ, Son of God and the Lord of Life, is America’s only hope. We need spiritual transformation. There is good news, Scripture reminds us that as we come before the Lord in a posture of humility, honesty and repentance, then the Lord will hear from heaven, forgive and heal our land.”

Again some planned to protest and even tried to prevent us from having the prayer gathering. Again I responded to media questions about the stiff opposition, sharing that the event was not about any of their perceived issues.

I simply stated that The Response was about the church and Christians taking our rightful knee posture in humility, personal and corporate repentance, and consecration.

In fact, the right to protest, as well as the liberties and freedom of speech we have in our nation, are largely due to the foundations established on Christian faith and beliefs. Those rights are not granted in many other nations, especially under other religions.

During The Response Louisiana, we divided the day into 5 segments:

  • Repentance (personal and corporate)

  • Reconciliation

  • Revival

  • Reformation

  • Refreshing

  • Some of the areas we prayed for were:

  • The shedding of innocent blood

  • Justice—including human trafficking and criminal justice

  • Healing the racial divide

  • Widows and single parents

  • Orphans and adoption

  • Honor and generational blessings

  • Family

  • Government—local, state, national, judicial and the president

  • Education

  • Church awakening

  • Peace of Jerusalem and peace in the Middle East

The Response is not about a protest, program or a movement in itself. It is a posture. It’s about the church humbling herself and crying out before God. Our private posture affects our public influence. Our private choices have public consequences. There is a battle for the soul of our nation. I believe the heart of the nation should be the church. We, the church, need a corporate heart awakening if we are to see the soul of our nation healed—if we are going to see another great awakening and revival.

How will we respond? Humility, repentance and consecration before God must be the answer. The Response is part of what God is doing, creating a culture of prayer as a lifestyle, appealing to heaven for His presence on behalf of the nation and our generation.

Currently other governors and governmental leaders are inquiring about having The Response (theresponseusa.com) in their states. The next one is set for June 13 in South Carolina.

Pockets of true revival are breaking out across America. Want to know more about the next great move of God? Click here to see Jennifer LeClaire’s new book, featuring Dutch Sheets, Reinhard Bonnke, Jonathan Cahn, Billy Graham and others.

9/11Day of Mercy

Did the disastrous day also display God’s grace?f-Chan-911

It was Sept. 10, 2001, the night before the calamity. I was leading a gathering of ministers in our building in northern New Jersey, across the Hudson River from New York City. As the leader of a Messianic worship center, I was very conscious of where we were in the biblical Hebrew calendar—these were the days of the trumpet, the biblical alarm, the warning sound of approaching danger.

That evening one of our ministers came to us heavily burdened over the fact that he had not shared the gospel with the unsaved in his life. He stayed there, praying late into the night. A few hours later, on Sept. 11, he went to work in his office inside the World Trade Center in Manhattan.

At that time there was also a woman in my life who seemed as if she could be the one for me. Only months earlier we had exchanged our first gifts at the ground floor of the Twin Towers. On the morning of Sept. 11, she was scheduled for an appointment at the towers just when the attack would take place.

f-Chan-911_2Tuesday the 11th was a warm and pleasant September morning. The burdened minister was high up in the South Tower when the first plane struck. As he pondered the possibility that his life was about to end, he was all the more haunted by his failure to share God’s love with the lost.

Subsequent to the plane crashing into the building, he made his way to the stairwell, which had quickly filled with others seeking to save their lives. Only a handful of minutes were left before the entire South Tower would collapse into a heap of ruins. But now, with so many people jamming the stairs, there was hardly any movement toward escape.

The minister began praying to God for a second chance to reach the lost. Then, suddenly it seemed, he found himself at the bottom of the stairs. He rushed out the entryway. Behind him, the tower started to collapse.

Reaching safety, he called his wife and children to tell them he was alive and then, before doing anything else, called an old friend for whom he had prayed the night before, to finally share the gospel with him.f-Chan-911_3

As for the woman whom I was courting and who was also scheduled to be at the towers at the time of the attack, she learned at the last minute that her appointment in New York City was cancelled. She too was saved from the calamity. This woman is now my wife with whom I share a little boy of 2 years.

Sept. 11 was, thus, not only a day of calamity but also a day of untold mercies and countless hidden stories of those whose lives would have ended but for the grace of God in a single turn of events.

And there was something more to it.

Two years before, I had stood overlooking the Hudson River in a gathering of prayer for God’s mercy on New York. It was united intercession based on a prophetic sense that a terrorist attack would come to the city in future days.

f-Chan-911_4As I led in prayer, my focus was drawn to the two towers of the World Trade Center across the water. A deep sense came over me of things yet to come for America. Two years later it would begin.

Could it be that 9/11 was, as well, a wake-up call to a nation rapidly departing from God? And did America wake up?

It is the call of God that we pray for our nation—for mercy and revival. And it is the Lord’s charge that we make the most of every moment to share the gospel with those who are perishing—for we never know when will be our last chance to do that.

Shut Down The Government. Now. | RedState

EndAmericafinal-cover-page-200x3001-200x3001-200x3001

Your taxpayer dollars are being used to subsidize an organization that extracts children, weeks from birth and capable of feeling pain and hearing, from their mothers’ wombs. The organization inserts instruments into the soft part of the child’s skull, rips it open, and extracts its brain. It then crushes the head and pulls it further out of the womb. From there it extracts the child’s heart, liver, lungs, and other viable organs.

Planned Parenthood, the organization in question, then sells the organs of the discarded, dead child. According to testimony into Planned Parenthood’s practices in Texas, Planned Parenthood of Houston alone makes $120,000.00 a month from the deaths of children and the harvesting of their organs.

Despite making that much money, the federal government gives Planned Parenthood millions of dollars each year. The Democrats say the money does not pay for abortions, but your federal taxpayer dollars subsidize an organization that could do quite well on its own.

Our tax dollars should not go to carving up kids and harvesting their organs. But they do.Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) N/A% and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) 61% are engaged in failure theater over the news. They are ensuring that votes to defund Planned Parenthood cannot make it out of Congress. They fear a Presidential veto.

Friends, if Republicans in Congress will not stop giving tax payer dollars to the American Joseph Mengele, we should show the party violence in the polling booth.

The national media will not cover the savage butchery of Planned Parenthood. Forcing this fight in Congress will force coverage. They will spin it against us, but every congressman who speaks up should stand surrounded by the images of butchered children so that all Americans can see what we are fighting for.

The budget and appropriations fights are forthcoming. If Barack Obama is willing to risk a government shutdown because he demands our tax dollars continue funding an organization that kills our children and sells their organs, we should have that fight.

Shut down the government if that is what it takes. Shut it down now. If we cannot stand on this high ground, we should not stand at all. Children are being ripped apart and their hearts, brains, lungs, and livers sold. Is this not a fight worth having?
