Don’t forget “soon to be King” David’s prayer when he was on the run from Saul and had to go into the presence of most likely angry and frustrated enemies: “Lord please predispose the people I am soon to meet, to act friendly towards me and my men”.
Today we might say something like this: “Jesus, I really could use your help here. Would you kindly predispose the people I am going to meet to act favorably toward me. I ask in Your Name”.
This prayer is successful even for work related incidences.
