How have we fallen so far?
Is it philosophically wise to dwell upon the morality of government? Are we frivolous and diverted from more serious concerns? Should we be reading poetry, watching TV, playing golf or listening to Mozart?
A discussion of the morality of government is more than an intellectual exercise. It has to do with understanding force and raw political power hidden behind the cleverest of disguises. Our perception of government morality directly relates to our quality of life and whether or not we pass human liberty to our heirs. There can be no perception of reality without inquiry into the nature of political authority. We must understand we are born into a system of thought that is rarely challenged.
More and more, we are beginning to feel the presence of authoritarianism. We are coerced into conformity and obeying the demands of “society.” We quite naturally feel oppressed. We know that there is deceptive manipulation of the public will. We know that subtle political forces are extracting our wealth and crushing our liberties under altruistic pretenses.
Political power in the United States is reckless. The political system is nothing less than mob rule. Private property is pillaged and destroyed, and the people are manipulated to support it. There is no “consent of the governed.”
Politics in America is not a party system. It is instead a repetitive and insulting process of pacifying the national will with the illusion of freedom and political choices.
Once we unmask the morality of criminal politics, we see a sophisticated process of using words and phrases to force upon us a social and moral ethic of conformity. In fact, our standard of mental health is nothing more than our complete submission to conformity. If we translate further, conformity means yielding to the morality of government authority without question. The “national interest” is a monopoly of demagogues and powercrats.
The answer for us is to inquire into government morality. Therein is revealed an unbelievable power system organized at every level to coerce us into self-sacrifice. We are pressed throughout our lives to believe that the shining path to utopia on Earth is built upon the fictions of egalitarianism and universalism. We should have faith in external authority with no thoughts of our own consciousness and personal well-being. A belief system of mysticism replaces rational thought.
But first, a little side trip is necessary to explain what I mean by universalism. Universalism is the belief that all men are or will be saved or redeemed, regardless of creed. It is the perfect religious system for deceiving people into political slavery because of its mass appeal to equality. In this way, universalism becomes a politico-religious organism. It is a comprehensive system for deceiving great masses of people. In the vision of utopian universalism, there are no races, colors, creeds nor standards of excellence.
Universalism organizes around and goes forward under similar ideologies ranging from humanitarianism to egalitarianism. These politico-religious ideologies are akin in their humanist depiction of men as victims of history, victims of other men and victims of God and in the belief in human progress or works as necessary to salvation. Universalism incorporates Islam, Judaism and all brotherhood religions in the religious sphere.
Universalism is socialism, communism and democracy in the political sphere. Only Christianity differs from these world religions, and only Christian families and communities founded on the truth can resist the deception and tyranny of universalism.
Universalism trumpets perfect freedom while resulting in total slavery. In the United States, universalism has led to superstitious and even barbaric beliefs and practices.
Homosexuality, bisexuality and polyamory are the new normal and are now codified into law by the lawless Supreme Court. These perversions are typically practiced around the world in cultures in which normal, healthful God-sanctioned relations between men and women are obliterated by pagan religions (e.g., Islam, Satanism, secular humanism). They are anathema to the Christian family as established by God: one man and one woman married for life, with children.
There is also a kind of fatalistic futurism among people which leads them to reject history, tradition, lineage and authority. Their behavior is fueled by the notion that this world either will not last much longer and/or that life in the world of their parents is forever lost or just not worth it. The state propaganda machine encourages this by flushing real history and heritage down the memory hole and replacing it with state-worshiping pseudo history.
The practical results of such beliefs are anarchy, barbarism and that which is promoted by the Council on Foreign Relations as “Third Worldism.” Third Worldism is the guiding principle of the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, etc., presuming that if underdeveloped nations are provided with the wealth of the industrialized nations, all will prosper … all will be equal. One of the objectives of global democracy is to redistribute the wealth of the world in just this fashion, making all people everywhere absolutely equal. They want to distributeyour wealth, not the wealth of the ruling oligarchs.
The key question then becomes, “How do people come to accept universalism?” One of the means is by secular, civic glory. That is, public sporting and political events take on a religious fervor, much as they did in the French and Russian communist revolutions. Another is the constant onslaught of humanistic and perverse propaganda disguised as entertainment that emanates from the idiot box.
Moreover, traditional and scriptural Christianity is gradually forced out and suppressed through intimidation and oppression and substituted with the new, secular system. Christians are targeted and forced to mute any discussion of their value system in the public sphere, threatened with loss of livelihood and forced into indoctrination camps if they refuse to conform to the new conventional wisdom. Some recent examples of this are Brendan Eich, Phil Robertson, Jack Phillips, Barronelle Stutzman, Elaine Huguenin, Aaron and Melissa Klein, Robert and Cynthia Gifford, and the LeBlanc family in Minnesota.
Christians and nonChristians alike in today’s world accept government morality because they have acquired the same morality for themselves. Value relativism and universalism of thought have diminished in our lives the spiritual influence of the Holy Scriptures. We no longer know right from wrong; and in fact, right or wrong can now change from day to day, depending upon new conventional wisdom or how one feels at the time.
What was a sin and perversion yesterday is now not only state-sanctioned but state-promoted. Our senses are so dulled with altruistic propaganda that we no longer have an imperative to inquire. There is no distinction in our minds that our individual and personal identity is different or should be different from the crowd.
The crowd is a product of government force. But the individual is a creation of God. God’s truth remains true, regardless of what the state says or commands. The individual can resist the perversion of the truth, and the godly individual must do so.
Inquiry is more than a curious mind. It is a disturbance of thought when values and inalienable rights are challenged and violated.
Our enlightened and open-minded readers want useful, practical and survival information based on perceptive reality. They know that there is something that they don’t know, and they inquire because their values and property — their liberties — are threatened. They need a steady translation of the government and media hype. They know that their security is not in government, its fictions and illusions of reality. Nothing in the world could bring us faster command of happiness and survival than to understand the morality of government and its esoteric philosophy. To see the emperor without clothes is to see things as they really are.
What could be more degrading and insulting to our being than to imagine that we are free and never inquire? Yet we have allowed government mysticism to create an illusion of freedom that we have accepted as the real thing.
The agenda of government morality is to erase man as a rational individual, transfer his psyche into the programmed crowd with prescribed thinking of the herd mentality and “correct” behavior (or correct his behavior), then program his mind so that any influence outside of government morality is hostile environment.
The common herd mentality is a product of government force, though it is contrary to man’s nature, his personal desire to acquire wealth and security, and his requirements for happiness.
In February 2002 I wrote in The Bob Livingston Letter, (www.boblivinstonletter.com, subscription required), “Christians, in your smugness, arrogance, conceit and materialism, the time will come when you may be considered ‘a terrorist’ if you claim your faith, belong to a patriotic group or even a pro-life organization.”
My friends, we are there. I take no pleasure in being correct.
Jonathan Cahn: ‘End of Christian America’ is here

Jonathan Cahn, the Bible teacher and author who started warning nine years ago that America was facing the judgment of God if it did not reject secularism and return to its Judeo-Christian roots, says the June 26 Supreme Court ruling that legalized gay marriage in all 50 states marks the formal end to Christian America.
Barring a “miracle of God,” the die has been cast, said the author of “The Harbinger” and “The Mystery of the Shemitah.”
Cahn, speaking at the annual Messiah Conference at Messiah College in Pennsylvania on America’s Independence Day, said the U.S. and the world are undergoing “tectonic shifts” in terms of attitudes and beliefs.
Even those who consider themselves “Christian” will continue to stray from right doctrine, he said, choosing instead to blend in with the ways of Western culture.
He said the world has entered what the apostle Paul called the “falling away” or the apostasy. This period, which marks the beginning of the “end of the age” and the soon return of Jesus Christ, will be similar to the period at the beginning of the age, when pagan Rome viciously persecuted the followers of Jesus.

But just as the early Church in the Book of Acts was marked by its “dynamic, revolutionary, counter-culture faith,” the last-days remnant that refuses to conform to the decaying moral structure of modern culture will also be marked by these same dynamic characteristics.
“At the beginning it was a revolutionary, radical, underground, counter-culture and Jewish faith. It was for all people but Jewish. As it moved away (from Jerusalem) the Jewish leadership vanished. And the more this faith became imbedded in Western culture, in world culture, the more this faith lost its identity,” he said.
After the apostles and the early Church fathers died and the Church got cut off from its Jewish roots, it lost something, said Cahn, who was speaking to about 1,000 Messianic Jewish and gentile believers at the annual conference of the Messianic Jewish Association of America. This year’s conference was also celebrating the 100th anniversary of organized Messianic Judaism, a movement of Jewish believers who came to faith in Jesus, or Yeshua, as their Messiah in 1915.
Two “Christianities?”
In the last days Christianity will continue to break into two, said Cahn. There will be the apostate false church and that which remains true to the Gospel and a biblical worldview. The true Church will boldly speak the truth on moral issues, as well as embrace Israel and support the Jewish people at a time when the rest of the world sees Israel as the enemy.
“At the beginning of the age you had an anti-Christian pagan culture that persecuted believers, well it’s coming back,” he explained. “We are at a pivotal point.”
This new period of total lawlessness and apostasy in which whole Christian denominations are falling in line with the world’s changing view of marriage, is only the latest symptom that the world and the Church are racing in different directions.
“We are watching changes of tectonic significance. Two years ago, speaking at this conference, I said the ground is shifting beneath our feet. Now I say it has shifted. If ever there was a moment that has marked America’s and much of the Western civilized world’s departure, of a post-Christian America, that definitive marker has come,” Cahn said. “It came just two days before this conference began. It happened on June 26, 2015, when the judgment of the nation’s highest court struck down the word of God concerning marriage.”
‘We have crossed that line’
Cahn said he was there, in Washington, D.C., on the day the court heard oral arguments in the same-sex marriage case.
“I witnessed a man in sackcloth on the steps of the Supreme Court, and a woman with a sign saying ‘Don’t cross this line,’” he said. “The next day I spoke on Capitol Hill to leaders and members of Congress.”
Cahn told those leaders that if a nation’s high court “should pass judgment on the Almighty, should you then be surprised if the Almighty should pass judgement on that court and that nation? We have crossed that line, the ground has shifted, and things are not going to be the same.
“And what happened was not just about marriage but a symptom of a civilization rejecting this Judeo-Christian faith that we brought to the world.”
Prepare for persecution
And the court’s decision will reverberate well beyond the marriage altar, Cahn said.
“The voice of the prophets, they cry out and say, ‘Woe to those that call good evil and evil good.’ Every step this culture takes to celebrate sin, is matched by an equal step to vilify and persecute those who are of God,” he said. “It’s no accident we are witnessing the beginnings of persecution.”
That warning was made even more significant because of who it came from, Cahn said.
“The warnings that believers will be persecuted didn’t come this time from students of biblical prophecy but from every single one of the dissenting Supreme Court justices,” he said. “They each sounded an alarm in that ruling — that believers will be persecuted. You don’t have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing. It’s no accident this event is being noted as a harbinger. The end of Christian America.”
He said this “end” will mark the “disestablishment of the Church,” and “what may be the removal of all tax exemption, the vilification of God’s people.”
Cahn recently spoke at the United Nations concerning the persecution of Christian people in the Middle East and warned that this persecution, if not stopped, will spread to the West.
“That persecution is not going to be an issue just for them. Except for the hand of God and revival it’s coming,” he said. “Two things converged here now. We’re celebrating the 100 milestone year of an end-time phenomenon, the beginning of the Jewish people returning to their Messiah, and it’s also July 4th and we’re witnessing the apostasy, the falling of the church. And for you in other nations it will affect you just as well.”
If anyone needed confirmation that history has arrived at “Post-Christian America,” they got it from President Obama and the White House immediately following the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling.
“Just a few days ago the highest house in the land representing the American government was bathed in colors not of the American flag but of another flag representing the celebration of what the Bible calls evil,” Cahn said. “A war that used the rainbow, the very sign of God’s covenant and mercy in the face of judgment, to desecrate His name, a sign of desecration covering the White House.”
‘God is not mocked’
Cahn said he warned for several years that American Christians were watching a civilization approaching judgment.
“In ‘The Harbinger‘ I warned of the nine harbingers of judgment that appeared in Israel’s last days that are appearing now,” he said. “The signs have not stopped since the book came out. They’ve continued. One year ago one of those nine signs of America was destroyed on a Jewish holy day (of Passover), and on the night of its destruction the moon turned red.”
He was referring to the “Tree of Hope,” a cedar tree that was planted near Ground Zero of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center towers, in place of a sycamore that had been destroyed by the falling debris. The cedar withered and died, and was removed on Passover of 2014. The cedar is a symbol of a nation’s strength in Old Testament Bible prophesy.
“Another of the nine harbingers, the president went down to ground zero (in 2012) and ascribed words on its highest beam that described words of judgment that led to the destruction of ancient northern Israel,” Cahn said.
Without knowing that he was repeating the prideful vow of ancient Israel as recorded by the prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 9:10, Obama wrote on the steel girder of the rebuilt tower: “We remember. We rebuild. We come back stronger.”
“This past weekend, the top of that tower right above those words (of the president) was also bathed in rainbow. A Tower of defiance,” Cahn said. “God is long-suffering and merciful, but God is not mocked.”
Cahn’s second book, “The Mystery of the Shemitah,” which came out in 2014, discusses the seven-year biblical cycle God gave to Moses in Deuteronomy in which the nation was to observe a Sabbath year once over seven years, letting the land rest, refraining from sowing and reaping, and canceling the debts on the last day of the Sabbath year.

For a nation that has turned its back on its godly heritage, the seven-year cycle can manifest as judgment. Cahn traced every major recession since 1973 to the seven-year Shemitah cycle.
The Shemitah years of 2001 and 2008 brought the 9/11 attacks and record stock-market crashes. The current Shemitah year of 2015 winds up on Sept. 13, or Elul 29 on the Hebrew calendar. It was on Elul 29, the last day of the year on the Hebrew calendar, that the last two record stock market crashes occurred. This time Elul 29 falls on Sept. 13, which is a Sunday, and the stock markets will be closed.
“This is the mystery that has marked the rise and fall of economies, stock markets, nations, empires,” Cahn said. “Two cautions. God doesn’t have to do anything at the climax of the Shemitah.
“We cannot put God in a box. If we do He gets out. It could be very uneventful. I don’t want people focusing on dates but on being right with God.”
But the second caution is just as strong, it could happen at this time. But either way no matter the timing. Whether with the Shemitah or beyond, whether sooner or later I believe a great shaking is coming to this nation and this world. It will involve a shaking of the great financial, economic realm, and yet it will be bigger than that, and when the dust clears we are to stand. The signs are all converging. We are witnessing the acceleration of the apostasy deepening, A growing hatred and mocking of God. At the same time the worst deterioration of America’s relationship with Israel. The administration has threatened to reassess its relationship with Israel, and maybe abandon it at the U.N. but the ancient covenant that God made with Abraham says if you reassess your relationship with Israel He will reassess his relationship with you. If you abandon Israel you will be abandoned. If you place Israel in danger what will happen to you?”
“Whether something happens nearer or later, do I believe it’s wise to prepare? Yes. Physically and more import spiritually. For you who are not born again, in Hebrew the name for safety is Yeshua.
“For you who are in Messiah there’s a place you can go that’s the safest place on Earth. It’s called the will of God. Get into that and do not fear. We are now closer to that day.
This is a seismic changes going on call for a return to the radical, counter-culture faith of the early Christians, Cahn said.
“This is our Esther moment. We were destined for such a time as this, we have to rise to it. The time for wavering is over, the time for playing with sin is over,” he said. “Whatever is in your life that is preventing you from your high calling given to you the time is now to get it out. There is no choice for us, for we in our house, we will follow god. Whatever it is then bring it on. We will follow Yeshua we will not bow down our knees to Baal. We will only bow to the God if Israel, Isaac, Jacob, Yeshua.”

Leading Israeli Rabbi Says the Arrival of the Messiah is Imminent

Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, a leading authority in mainstream Ultra-Orthodox Judaism, has been giving clear and unequivocal messages recently that the coming of the Messiah is imminent. He is urging Jews to make Aliyah as soon as possible. Aliyah, the Hebrew verb for “going up”, refers to immigrating to Israel, which is seen as higher spiritual action that can help herald in the coming of the Messiah.
It was reported that the Rabbi Kanievsky was presented with a pamphlet, written by Rabbi Yitzchak Ben Tzvi from the city of Bnei Brak, dealing with the End of Days and many other related prophecies. Rabbi Kanievsky, who is a pillar of the Jewish community and known for his authoritative books on Torah law, read the pamphlet carefully. After a short consideration, he told those around him that the pamphlet needed to be distributed and that Jews living outside Israel should return to their ancestral land.
In yet another instance of Rabbi Kanievsky’s call for aliyah, author Rabbi Yekutiel Fisch revealed advice that was given to his cousin, a teacher at a prominent Lakewood Yeshiva who visited Israel recently and went to Rabbi Kanievsky to receive a blessing at the end of his visit.
The Rabbi told him that he should not leave Israel because the Messiah would be arriving very soon. The teacher responded that he had 700 students waiting for him in Lakewood. Rabbi Kanievsky told him that he must bring all of the students to Israel. Upon his arrival in Lakewood, the story spread quickly, creating quite an impression on the students who all revere Rabbi Kanievsky.
After a lifetime of immersing himself in classical Jewish texts, Rabbi Kanievsky’s study partner informed various media sites that the Rabbi is talking about the messiah “all the time.” Since last summer’s war in Gaza, the Rabbi has been spreading this message of imminent return. In one instance, Rabbi Kanievsky instructed a Jew from Argentina who asked for a blessing that he should “gather your family and come to Israel. Otherwise, there won’t be enough room for you on the airplanes.”
When asked about the timing of the Messiah’s arrival, Rabbi Kanievsky answered, “At the end of the Sabbatical year.” Several people have asked the Rabbi to verify this and he has given the same answer each time. This year is the Sabbatical year and it will be ending on the 29th day of Elul, which, by the Gregorian calendar falls on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
In answer to Rabbi Kanievsky’s call, the Jews of France have begun to arrive in Israel in blessed droves. The impetus is certainly a reaction to increasing anti-Semitic and Islamic fueled violence across Europe.
After the horrific terror attack at a Kosher market in Paris six months ago, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu urged French Jews to come home to Israel. His remarks drew criticism from some, however last week, in the wake of Ramadan violence in several countries including France, Zeev Elkin, the Israeli Minister of Immigration and Absorption, called on French Jews to make Aliyah, echoing his leader’s words.
“Come home! Anti-Semitism is growing, terrorism is on the rise and the sickly ISIS activists carry out murders in the light of day. We are prepared to accept the Jews of France with open arms,” he said.
Last year, 7,000 French Jews made aliyah to Israel, making it the number one country of origin for new immigrants. The Jewish Agency and the Ministry for Aliyah and Immigrant Absorption are expecting more than 3,000 French Jews to immigrate to Israel this summer alone, many of them families with children who want to arrive and integrate before the beginning of the school year.
It should be noted that it is considered a positive trait to always be anticipating the Messiah. The Chofetz Chaim, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan, a great Torah sage, is told to have said that any time he heard a loud noise, he would say, “Perhaps the Messiah has arrived?” Similar stories have also been told of the leading Moroccan Kabbalist, the Baba Sali, Rabbi Israel AbuhaseirA

Amid Sinai Attacks, Netanyahu Warns ISIS “Knocking” at Israel’s Borders – Israel News

Fearing a spillover of fighting from Egypt, the Israeli Defense Forces has bolstered its presence in the Sinai Peninsula Thursday after dozens of people were killed in a wave of terror attacks by ISIS.
ISIS-affiliated Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis claimed responsibility for Wednesday’s surprise attacks, which targeted Egyptian soldiers and has left at least 70 people dead.
In response to the unprecedented fighting, the IDF deployed additional troops in the southern region and is operating on high alert status. The army is monitoring the fighting in Egypt via the use of UAV’s, Israel Radio reported.
Clashes come one day after Israel’s Defense Ministry closed the border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt amid growing reports of terror related incidents. IDF sources told Israel Radio that security officials are concerned that the fighting could spill over into Israel.
The IDF is preparing for every scenario, the report added, including kidnapping attempts and infiltration by jihadists.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered his condolences to Egypt and stated that the attacks serve as a major warning sign to Israel. “Terrorism is knocking at our borders,” he said while visiting an IDF soldier injured in a terror stabbing attack earlier in the week.
“ISIS is not just opposite the Golan Heights. At the moment it is also in Egypt, opposite Rafah, facing our borders, and we are joined with Egypt and with many other countries in the Middle East and the world in the struggle against the extremist Islamic terrorism that is guided by two elements – Iran and the Shiite extremists, and ISIS and the Sunni extremists — as well as other factions such as Hamas”
Former national security chief Maj. Gen. Giora Eiland (ret.) said there was a “real concern” that ISIS could capture Gaza and urged the government of Israel to ensure Hamas remains in control of the coastal enclave.
Egyptian officials told Arab media that the situation was “100 percent under control” on Wednesday night. However, in the early hours of Thursday morning, Egyptian warplanes resumed strikes against ISIS positions in the Sinai.
Sky News Arabic reported that 23 jihadists, including senior members of Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, were killed overnight Wednesday-Thursday.
Since the launching of the jihadist insurgency in Egypt, when former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi was ousted in 2013, Wednesday’s attacks are being called the most brazen yet.
Jihadists fired rocket-propelled grenades from rooftops at a police station in Sheikh Zuweid after closing off the area to possible reinforcements, an Egyptian police colonel told the media. Car bombings, suicide bombing and rocket attacks followed throughout the day.
“This is war,” a senior Egyptian military official told AFP. “It’s unprecedented, in the number of terrorists involved and the type of weapons they are using.”
