A few years ago a sales team went to a regional sales convention in Chicago. They had assured their family’s that they would be home in plenty of time for Friday night’s dinner. In their rush to return, with tickets and briefcases in hand, one of the guys inadvertently kicked over a kiosk table which held a display of apples. Apples flew everywhere. Without stopping or looking back, they all managed to reach the plane in time for boarding, just before the door was closing.
ALL BUT ONE! While the rest of the sales team disappeared behind the closing door this guy paused, took a deep breath, and experienced a twinge of compassion for the young man whose apple stand had been overturned. He waved good-bye to his sales team and grabbed his cell phone explaining to his wife that he would be on a later flight.
Then he returned to the kiosk where the apples were all over the terminal floor. He was glad he did.
The young man was blind! He was softly crying, tears running down his cheeks. He was totally frustrated and at the same time helplessly groping for spilled produce as the crowds silently scurried about him. No one stopped — not even one person cared about his quandary.
The salesrep knelt on the floor next to the young man, and began gathering up the apples. He stacked them back on the table and helped organize the display.
As the salesrep picked up the fruit he noticed that many of them had become battered and bruised. Those he set aside in a separate basket. When he had finished, he pulled out some money from his wallet and said to the young man, “Here, please take this $50 bill for the damage we did. Are you okay?” The young blind man nodded through his tears. He continued on with, “I hope we didn’t spoil your day too badly.”
As the salesrep started to walk away, the bewildered blind man called out to him, “Mister….” The salesrep paused and turned to look back into those blind eyes. Then he heard, “Are you Jesus?”
The salesrep stopped in mid-stride, as he wondered. Then slowly he made his way to catch the later flight with that question burning in his soul: Do you reflect?
Isn’t that our Destiny? To be so much like Jesus that people cannot tell the difference as we live and interact with a world that is blind to His love, compassion and grace.
That salesrep certainly was not Jesus but his life reflected Jesus for all to see.
Prayer: Father may my life be a reflection of Jesus that clearly identifies me as a Christian. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

Blast them all.
That was my first thought upon hearing the news that, dear G-d, another Israeli has been stabbed to death by another Muslim terrorist.
How much more of this can we take before we answer back and remove them, remove them all, all of them, from the Land of Israel?
A terrible, unforgiving instinct takes over after one of these events and, if you’re like me, you weep, and then cry vengeance.
Lord, remove this pestilence from the entire face of the earth.
Later we cool off. We return to our senses. We recognize that they are not all like that and we even feel a sense of guilt for our impulses.
He came from Oslo. He came from Europe. He came from the European Union. He came from BDS.
But after an event like this, so random, so brutal, anyone who does not express unforgiving outrage, rage without pity, if only for a moment, is himself sub-human, a man without a heart just like the Palestinian Arab savages who choose for themselves the most vulnerable, the most defenseless to do their ungodly handiwork.
Absolute indignation, we owe ourselves this much, if only this much to remedy our grief and despair.
At times like these our anger is the only comfort we have left. Fury is our only answer to our broken hearts.
Dafna Meir was 38 when they came for her. She was the ideal Israeli, a daughter of Judea from the line of Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah. She was a loving wife to her husband Natan, a loving and doting Jewish mother to her six children. She was a woman of valor, choosing to live in Otniel, the Biblical heartland of the Jewish State; the Bible Belt scorned by the world.
Screw them all!
She was a nurturer. Two of her children were adopted. She was a healer. At the Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, she served as a nurse.
She had so much more to give.
From every account and from her photo alone we see her as the embodiment of the Israeli woman, joyful, spunky, courageous, creative, tough, soft, freedom-loving, neighborly, faithful to the Land and her People. Is this why they chose her? Yes it is. This is their “armed struggle.”
For their “armed struggle” they choose women. They choose children. They choose men, women and children in their prime.
Dafna Meir was in her prime. Grandchilden are sure to come. She will never see them. A Palestinian Muslim Arab terrorist took care of that.
Damn them all!
Where did he come from, this terrorist? The search is on. But we know. He came from Arafat. He came from Mahmoud Abbas.
Damn them all!
He came from Oslo. He came from Europe. He came from the European Union. He came from BDS.
Blast them all!
He came from the BBC. He came from CNN. He came from The New York Times. He came from Haaretz.
Damn them all!
He came from every land swap. He came from every prisoner exchange. He came from every sign that Israel can be TAKEN.
He came from every Church that supports the boycott movement and he came from every Synagogue that welcomes them as migrants and that accepts the myth of moral equivalence. They all had a hand in the dagger to the chest that took the life of Dafna Meir in her prime.
Damn them all.
Later it will be time to repent for our hard feelings. Ordinarily we are not like this. We do not think like this.
We are good people. Among us are Torah-observant Jews, whether we practice it religiously or not, joined by upright Christians devoted with us to the Biblical imperative to love our neighbors as ourselves. This is not like us to condemn the good along with the wicked.
Yes, later it will be time to relent and repent. But not just yet.

Analysis reveals which group is ‘real and present danger to the United States’

A widely cited study by a progressive foundation that purports Americans have more to fear from so-called “right-wing extremists” than from Islamic terrorists is based on a deeply flawed analysis, according to the findings of a Florida scholar.
The New America Foundation study, released in 2015, claims 48 deaths in the U.S. over the past 14 years were the result of “right wing attacks” while only 45 deaths were perpetrated by “violent jihadist attacks.”
Professor Andrew Holt of Florida State College in Jacksonville debunked the study for its flawed methodology, which included the selective use of data. For example, the study ignored a half-dozen Islamic terror attacks, including the mega attack that killed 3,000 on Sept. 11, 2001, and the murders of 10 people in 2002 by D.C. Beltway snipers John Allen Muhammad and Lee Malvo.
“If you include the death totals from 9/11 in such a calculation, then there have been around 62 people killed in the United States by Islamic extremists for every one American killed by a right wing terrorist,” Holt stated in his analysis.
Holt, a Ph.D., is a professor of history, religion and foreign affairs.
Despite its questionable scholarship, the study by the New America Foundation has been gleefully cited by numerous media outlets including the Associated Press, the New York Times, the Hill and the Washington Post, among others. It has even been used by professors in some college classrooms as examples of “Islamophobia” in America.
Even if the attack of Sept. 11, 2001, were eliminated from the equation, that would still leave Islamic terror responsible for 50 percent of all terror attacks on U.S. soil during the 14-year period. But the study’s authors fail to ask the question: How does a group, Islam, which accounts for only 1 percent of the U.S. population, commit half of the nation’s deadly terror attacks?
The study also does not take into account the many extraordinary measures put in place by the government since 2001 to combat terror. The FBI has since then foiled at least 40 major Islamic-inspired attacks.

Not only media but the federal government itself has used the flawed New America study to justify stepped-up action against non-Islamic Americans.
The New America study also cited by Assistant Attorney General John Carlin in October as justification for the creation of a new federal position within the Justice Department called the “domestic terrorism counsel.”
Robert Spencer, author of several books on Islam who blogs at JihadWatch.org, said he doesn’t expect the professor’s debunking of the study to get much attention in the mainstream media because it destroys a narrative in which they are heavily invested. He writes:
“Contrary to media myth, you’re actually 62 times more likely to be killed by an Islamic jihadist than by a ‘right-wing extremist.’ Professor Andrew Holt shows that not only did the New America Foundation wildly exaggerate the threat of ‘right-wing extremists,’ and fudge the data to do so, it also ignored several murderous Islamic jihad attacks. The New America Foundation study was written up in the New York Times and elsewhere — the mainstream media loved it and continues to cite it to this day. This debunking will not get that kind of attention.”
WND reported as early as last October many of the same glaring weaknesses in the study that are cited by Holt.
WND also exposed the financial backers of the New America Foundation.
Financial support comes from billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and the Carnegie Corp. of New York, which have funded causes such as Common Core and mass immigration.
In announcing the new domestic terrorism position, Carlin referred to the New America Foundation study that found more Americans have been killed by “right-wing” extremists since Sept. 11 than by Islamic terrorists.
“Looking back over the past few years, it is clear that domestic terrorists and homegrown violent extremists remain a real and present danger to the United States,” Carlin said. “We recognize that, over the past few years, more people have died in this country in attacks by domestic extremists than in attacks associated with international terrorist groups.”

It’s a hybrid of Islamic radicalism that even scares Al Qaeda.
The New York Times best-selling author Joel Rosenberg calls it “Apocalyptic Islam.”

“Apocalyptic Islam doesn’t want to simply attack us, it wants to annihilate us,” Rosenberg told me during an interview broadcast on my podcast. “Apocalyptic Muslims like the leaders of Iran and the leaders of the Islamic State believe that we are living in the End Times and that it’s their mission from Allah to bring about the end of the world as we know it.”
Rosenberg describes Apocalyptic Islam as a subset of Radical Islam.
“We’re not talking about 1.6 billion Muslims,” he said. “We’re talking about ten percent or less who are radicals.”
But ten percent of 1.6 billion is still a mighty big number – and they want to destroy Christians, Jews anyone else they consider to be an infidel.
“They want to establish their global Islamic kingdom where everybody has to follow Islam,” he said. “And that is a substantively, significantly different and much more dangerous form of radical Islam than even Al Qaeda and Hamas and the Taliban.”
“This is not just about attacking us,” Rosenberg warned. “This is about annihilating us.”
Even Al Qaeda has denounced the Apocalyptic Muslims as bloodthirsty.
“When Al Qaeda thinks you’re crazy, you’re really crazy,” he said. “And these people are not just crazy – they’re demonic.”
And yet President Obama and his administration are trying to appease the Islamists – including the ones currently in charge of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Rosenberg called the nuclear deal foolish, dangerous and insane.

“Once you understand Apocalyptic Islam, you understand just how dangerous it is to give Iran not just one path to nuclear weapons, but two,” he said. “This president doesn’t understand the threat of radical Islam. He won’t even define that – much less Apocalyptic Islam.”
And he doesn’t hold out much hope for the current presidential frontrunners either.
“This is a very challenging year when you have a president and two frontrunners who just don’t understand the most serious foreign policy threat of our time,” he said. “That is not comforting.”
Rosenberg has offered counsel to several Republican presidential campaigns including Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.
“Senator Rubio totally gets it,” he said. “He’s been using that language in the debates and in his speeches.”
Among the others who “get it” are Cruz, Jeb Bush and Rick Santorum.
What about Donald Trump?
“It’s clear [Trump] doesn’t understand this,” he said. ‘It’s just all bloviating.”
It’s not so much that the world is facing a future threat – the threat is already here.
“These people are crucifying Christians, they’re beheading people” he said. “They are creating mayhem and really genocidal conditions in Syria and Iraq and our current president is just using half measure to run some sort of public relations war against them.”
He doesn’t have a plan.

If you know anyone who has been swindled it can be one of life’s most embarrassing, humiliating and heartbreaking experiences.
The 1973 film “The Sting” has become a classic of how confidence men select a mark and follow through to swindle a large sum of money.
To be placed in a position where people set you up by gaining your confidence — Then deliberately mislead you in order to swindle your money, possessions and properties is an awful experience.
Some call it a con game — Short form of “confidence game!” And it’s as old as the Garden of Eden. Satan conned Adam and Eve.
Satan was cunning and charming inviting unsuspecting people to put their confidence in him. He whispered promises and delicious possibilities into their ears. All the time knowing that he had no intent to keep those promises or make good on his delicious possibilities.
Adam and Eve were embarrassed, humiliated and heartbroken by the choices they made — they were stung by Satan’s sting.
Since then Old Slue Foot Satan has been repeating the same lies with his tantalizing promises. All of which he never plans on delivering. His con game goes on. His game plan never changes.
So who can we trust to keep promises? The Bible is clear. The Lord Jesus Christ. There are promises laced all throughout the Bible and they are there for you and me. You can have complete confidence in God because His name and nature guarantee it.
Each book in the Bible is loaded with promises from God. The New Testament book of Matthew, for example, holds 57 promises, Romans 41 and Revelation 37.
Look at what the Apostle Paul says about God’s promises, “For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No.” He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s ultimate “Yes,” he always does what he says. For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us. 2 Corinthians 1:19-22 NLT
Avoid the sting at all costs — Walk in the great and precious promises set before you since the beginning of time.
Prayer: Father thank you for your great and precious promises. Help me to always chose to walk with Jesus. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

David Crowley was a screenwriter and aspiring filmmaker working on his first independent film.
Komel Crowley was a registered dietitian who, like her husband, mostly worked from their Apple Valley home.
Together, they were raising their 5-year-old daughter, Raniya — a bright kindergartner who rarely missed a day of school.
But that illusion vanished a year ago, when all three were found fatally shot Jan. 17 in the living room of their rambler in what investigators immediately said pointed to an apparent murder-suicide three weeks earlier.
Police found an Arabic phrase, written in blood, on a living-room wall.
They also found a spiral-bound notebook open to a page with dried blood on it with the words, “Submit to Allah NOW.”
“What it all adds up to is this was a guy who snapped,” Apple Valley Police Chief Jon Rechtzigel said. “To cross that line, to go to that level of violence — and this is domestic violence, make no ifs ands or buts about it … I mean, you take the lives of your daughter and your wife and besides that you’re writing things on the wall in blood. Nobody thinks to do that unless they’re really of a deranged mind at that point.”
Apple Valley police recently closed the case, which included a year-long examination by the Dakota County Electronic Crimes Task Force into 16 hard drives found in the home in the 1000 block of Ramsdell Drive.
A copy of the 94-page police file released to the Pioneer Press sheds light on the mind-set of David Crowley before police say the Owatonna, Minn., native killed his wife and daughter execution-style and then ended his own life with a bullet to the front of his head.
Despite the grisly scene, investigators concluded within two hours that David Crowley was the one who pulled the trigger of the .40-caliber Springfield handgun, found next to his body.
Six days later, the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office confirmed that the deaths of Komel, 28, and Raniya were homicides, while Crowley, 29, died of suicide.
Each died of a single gunshot wound to the head around Dec. 26, 2014, and the medical examiner’s office did not find marks or injuries on the bodies suggesting physical struggle before their deaths.
Police couldn’t tell how long Crowley was alive as his wife and daughter lay dead and before he turned the gun on himself, according to reports in the case file.
In the living room where their bodies lay, Crowley scrawled on a wall in his wife’s blood the Arabic phrase, “Allahu Akbar,” meaning “God is greatest.”
Investigators believe the words were Crowley’s “last little shot by him, a sarcastic thing aimed at (Komel’s) Muslim past,” Rechtzigel said.
Komel Crowley was raised Muslim in Pakistan and converted to Christianity when she married David Crowley; they met while he was stationed in the Army in Texas in 2008.
What led investigators to believe that? Nothing that they’ve revealed. She converted from Islam and married him, why would he ridicule her for that?
Maybe Crowley converted to Islam. After all, he did write, “Submit to Allah Now” in his notebook. Or perhaps someone who knew that Komel converted to Christianity doled out the Islamic punishment.
The official story – already a year old – simply doesn’t make any sense and the media won’t bother digging any deeper.

Speaking at an economic forum in Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo, he told an audience that China is struggling to find a new growth model and its currency devaluation is transferring problems to the rest of the world, according to media. He added that a return to rising interest rates was proving difficult for the developing world.
The current environment reminded him of the “crisis we had in 2008,”The Sunday Times in Sri Lanka reported on Thursday morning. “China has a major adjustment problem,” he added, according to Bloomberg. “I would say it amounts to a crisis.”
The Reality is Stark and the Consequences are Clear
For years, Mac Slavo of SHTFPlan fervently warned his readers to stock up on physical assets and to prepare. His weekly economic posts proved of economic strife, but many believed he was all hype. It seems the day is finally here and we are looking at the possibility of this crisis being more unforgiving than its predecessor.
Mac states, “All you have to do is look around. The signs are everywhere. There is an industrial recession in China, lackluster holiday sales prove there is a consumer recession in the United States, real estate is stalled and is re-collapsing and stock markets around the world are set to buckle. If you’ve yet to prepare, the time is now because the whole thing is about to come unhinged.
What is about to occur is mirroring what happened in 2008. In fact, given the many national and world events that has plagued us in the past, it seems that this looming crisis on the horizon is the perfect storm for disaster.
Mac goes on to warn us. What to expect is to expect the unexpected because uncertainty is the name of the game. We don’t know how far markets will crash, what will happen with the U.S. dollar or what will happen with geopolitical tensions; and our way of life could change literally overnight. In the last 15 years, we’ve seen what systemic breakdown does in countries like Greece, Cyprus, Venezuela and Argentina.
The lessons learned are clear – you better have supplies on hand. In Venezuela, for example, they couldn’t even get toilet paper or condoms. In Greece, people were lining up in droves to get expired food that grocery stores were throwing away, and perhaps just as significantly, access to lifesaving medicine was lost when Greek credit markets were locked up.
The reality is stark and the consequences are clear – there will be panic, confusion and violence. Are you ready for that?
If You’ve Yet to Prepare, the Time is Now
Unlike the recession of 2008, this economic beast will not be held off. There will be extensive amounts of wealth lost leading to drastic cutbacks by consumers. Moreover, you can expect massive job loss. In 2008 and 2009, the U.S. labor market lost 8.4 million jobs, or 6.1% of all payroll employment. This was the most dramatic employment contraction (by far) of any recession since the Great Depression (Source).
As well, you can anticipate food prices to increase even more than they have over the last few years. In fact, the price for food has drastically risen since the last recession; and according to this chart, prices are set to steadily increase with this next crisis.
As Slavo points out, now is the time to invest in your future so that you can limit your exposure to this potential game changer.
- Get prepared. At the very least, buy food, products, and supplies in bulk to help you prepare for price inflation. If you have the means to do so, invest in 30-60 days worth of supplies so that you have everything you need. Having these on hand will help you if times become more difficult. Using a combination of shelf stable foods, you can create a well-rounded food supply to depend on when an emergency arises. Further, these foods last a lifetime and would make sound investments for future planning. Ideally, you want to store shelf-stable foods that your family normally consumes, as well as find foods that are multi-dynamic and serve many purposes.
