Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”  Numbers 22:28 nkjv

If God can speak through a donkey, He surely is able to use you and I as well.  We have His Spirit in our lives as His children.  And He is moving us to be obedient, persistent and courageous in the day we live.

Do we think God cannot use our efforts to win more to Christ?  Have we tried?  Have we prayed?  Have we fasted?  Do not believe a lie that your efforts are in vain.  Only believe that seeds sown can take root and grow with the Holy Spirit… saturated with prayer…

A minister in our northern region, was praying for a young man. One day he handed this young man a tract.  The next time the minister saw him, he asked if he had prayed the prayer in the tract.

The young man said no.  This happened a few more times, when finally the young man, tired of being asked by this pastor, took out the tract, and prayed the prayer without meaning it.

 And the rest is history.

In the young man’s own testimony, after he “lip synced” this prayer, the Holy Spirit came in and hounded him so much, that convicted by the Holy Spirit, he went back to the tract and prayed the prayer for real.  And he began his walk with God.

Do not believe your prayers are not effective.  Obedience saturated with prayer brings miraculous results… and persistence is a blessing.  He can speak through you too.

“And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down to the ground,
and put his face between his knees” …and it affected a nation.
