Why did God take 6 days to create the world when He could have just snapped His fingers and poof, there it was? Why did God not create in 1 day, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 days, yet created for 6 days and rested the 7th day?
Many believe that since God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day (Genesis 2:1-3), that God has a 6,000-year plan for man followed by a 1,000-year reign by Jesus Christ (Revelation 20:4).
In Biblical times, it was commonly believed among the Jews, and early Christians, that at the end of 6,000 years of history, Christ would return and reign for 1,000 years.
Early Christian writers, such as Barnabas, who was with Paul the Apostle in Lycaonia, wrote: “Therefore, children, in six days, that is in six thousand years, everything shall come to an end.”
Another Christian author, Lactantius, wrote:
“As there had been 2,000 years from Adam to Abraham, and 2,000 from Abraham to Christ; so there will be 2,000 years for the Christian era and then would come the Millennium.”
There is even an old tradition that the prophet Elijah taught there would be six thousand years for humans to rule under Satan’s kingdom, followed by one thousand years of abundance in the kingdom of God. The fact that both Jews and early Christians believed God had a 7,000 year plan, doesn’t mean that their belief is the reality. It’s just a factor worth considering.
Biblical “Hints” of a 7,000 Year Plan
Let’s look at some interesting things in Scripture that support this belief…
- There are two places in Scripture that say a day with the Lord is as a thousand years:
“For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past.” (Psalm 90:4) - “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8)
Curiously, these verses do NOT say that a day is with the Lord as thousands of years (plural), ten thousands of years, or millions of years. It specifically states that “one day” is with the Lord as “a thousand years.” So, when the apostle Peter tells us that a “day” is with God as a thousand years, we should sit up and take notice!
Scripture also says that there still remains a day of rest for God’s people. Paul tells us that “the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Rom. 8:22), which means that the creation has not yet entered into the rest that the Scriptures mandate (Isa. 11:10; 14:7; 44:21-23; 49:13; 55:12). This rest will occur under the rule of Jesus when He returns and sets up the promised kingdom on earth for one thousand years (Rev. 20:1-7)!
Interestingly, in Hebrews 4:4, 11, the seventh day of the week is pictured as a type of the peaceful “rest” on earth which will follow Christ’s return! Being a time of “rest” (Heb. 4:4-11), and lasting a thousand years (Rev. 20:1-7), it makes perfect sense that God would correspond it to the seventh day rest of Genesis 2:2. Since the last “day” of God’s plan for mankind is 1,000 years, it is logical to conclude that the other six days of creation typify 6,000 years of man’s government on earth.
Furthermore, the number 6 represents mankind and rebellion (6,000 years of man’s self rule?). The number 7 represents perfection (The Millennium?). The number 8 represents new beginnings (New Heavens and New Earth?). Could it be that God is trying to show us something here?
There are many “pictures”, “shadows”, and “types” in the Bible that would seem to confirm the 7,000-year theory:
King Solomon had 6 steps to this throne and the 7th step was his throne (2 Chronicles 9:18).
Lazarus (a type of Israel) was sick and dead for a total of 6 days (John 11:1; 5-6; 14; 39). Jesus resurrected him on the 7th day (John 11:40-44).
After 6 days, Jesus took his closest disciples up into a high mountain and was transfigured (a picture of the Second Advent) before them (Matt. 17:1; Mark 9:2).
After 6 days, Moses was called up to mount Sinai to be in the presence of God in the midst of the cloud (Exodus 24:16).
After 6 days, Jesus went to the wedding feast in Cana (John 1:51; 2:1).
Noah was 600 years of age when God destroyed the world with the flood (Genesis 7:6). And the ark rested in the 7th month (Genesis 8:4).
King Joash was the rightful king of Israel but was hidden in the temple of God for 6 years while an impostor reigned (Queen Athaliah – a picture of Satan the devil, the great usurper). At the beginning of the 7th year, the king was brought forth to sit on his rightful throne, and the usurper was put to death (2 Kings 11:16).
Slaves worked for 6 years and the 7th year was freedom (Exodus 21:2; Deuteronomy 15:1).
The list goes on. There are many other instances in the Bible that reflect a similar kind of timeline, and there is no need for such specific information (the six and a distinct seventh pattern) unless it hints at a larger truth!
Bible chronology shows there were approximately 2,000 years from Adam’s creation until Abraham (Genesis 5; 11) and 2,000 years from Abraham until Jesus Christ. Is this merely coincidence? Given that the Millennium, the final “day” in God’s plan for human history, will be 1,000 years, it requires no great leap of exegetical skill to posit a comparable 2,000 years from Jesus’ First Coming to His Second Coming.
The notion that there will be 2 days, or 2,000 years, from Christ’s death till the Second Coming, or 4,000 years from Adam to Christ’s death, also seems to be confirmed by Bible analogies:
Jesus stayed with the Samaritan woman (a type of the Church) for 2 days (John 4:40).
The Good Samaritan (a type of Jesus) gave the innkeeper 2 pence (equal to 2 day’s wages) to care for the wounded man, promising to return and settle the account (Luke 10:35).
During the 6 days before going to the wedding feast in Cana, Jesus took a trip on the 4th day and was not seen again until the 7th day (John 1:19; 29; 35; 43; 2:1).
The Passover lamb was set aside 4 days before it was sacrificed (Exodus 12:3; 6). This of course is a type and shadow that pointed to Jesus, the Lamb of God, who was to come and die for the salvation of mankind. The Lamb of God was sacrificed from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8) and was killed at Passover 4,000 years later.
“Life” shows up after the 4th day in the creation narrative. Likewise, Christ shows up after 4,000 years and brings “life” (John 1:1-5; 10:10; 3:16; 1 John 1:1-2; 5:12-13).
Lastly, Hosea pictures Christ’s Second Coming 2,000 years after his ascension, in one of the most remarkable passages that supports the theory of God having a 7,000-year plan:
“I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.” (Hosea 5:15-6:2)
No one seems to be able to explain this verse (Hosea 5:15-6:2) until you apply this verse inside the 7,000-year template: “I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence . . .” refers to Jesus returning to heaven after being rejected and crucified by the Jews. He will remain there until they “acknowledge their offense” and “seek” him in the Great Tribulation, which the passage calls “their affliction.” They will then “return unto the LORD” and be revived “after two days,” which equals the third 2,000-year time slot in God’s Plan, toward the end of which Israel becomes a nation (1948) in preparation for a spiritual revival later. Finally, “in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” refers to the nation being totally revived and regenerated at the Second Coming of Christ and living in His sight in the millennial kingdom, which is the “third day” after Calvary, the “third day” after their offense of rejecting Christ.
Keep in mind that not all uses of the word “day” in Scripture mean a 24-hour solar day (Gen. 1:5). Take, for example, what God told Adam in Genesis 2:17:
“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Gen. 2:17).
Adam died at the ripe old age of 930 years (Gen. 5:5). The “day” in which he died was certainly not the “24 hour” day. But the Word of God also speaks of the “millennial” day, or the “thousand year day.”
Scripture statements seem to support that we have been in the LAST DAYS ever since Jesus died:
“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts 2:17)
“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.” (Hebrews 1:1-2)
These verses are likely referring to the latter days of the 7,000 year week. If there is no 7,000-year plan, then the New Testament statements above about then being in the last days make little sense.
There are other Scriptures showing support for a 7,000-year plan, and the lateness of the hour makes this truth more relevant today than at any time in human history.
When Does the 6,000-Year Rule End?
Have you ever wondered why the Bible records the ages of people all the way back to Adam? Or why it records the number of years the Kings of Israel ruled? It seems God wanted us to be able to count the years from creation. Interestingly, after stating a thousand years is as a day in Psalm 90:4, the Psalmist writes that our own days are limited and we should number our days that we may have the heart of wisdom (Psalms 90:4-12)! Could understanding approximately where we are in the 6,000 years be a wise thing to do?
Historical records indicate that almost 6,000 years have elapsed since the re-creation of the earth and almost 2,000 years since the death of Jesus Christ. Based upon certain calculations, it seems that Adam and Eve were created and/or apparently left the garden of Eden between roughly 3959-3975 B.C. (it is most likely that the 6,000 years began once Adam sinned as Adam had not rebelled before then). This would suggest that the 6,000 years should be up sometime between 2026 A.D. – 2042 A.D.
However, a more accurate way to calculate when the 6,000-year period ends would be to add 2,000 years from the year Jesus Christ was crucified – and the Church Age began – which likely marks the beginning of the third 2,000-year time slot in God’s Plan.
Although we cannot state with absolute certainty the amount of time that passed since Adam, we can establish the date of the crucifixion with fair certainty: Virtually all scholars believe, for various reasons, that Jesus was crucified in the spring of either 30 A.D. or 33 A.D. (Insert: Some sources show one come not be called a Rabbi unless one were 30 years of age). Based upon the above calculation, we COULD expect the 6,000 years to end, and Jesus Christ to return, in 2030 A.D. or 2033 A.D. (Insert: Based on the Rabbi principle, 2033).
The author of this article — “Joel” at: https://www.christianevidence.net/2019/01/gods-7000-year-plan.html takes care to state he is “NOT” setting a specific date for Jesus to return, but only suggesting a “possibility” based on whether the 7,000 year plan is correct or not).
What About the Rapture of the Church?
Since there is a seven-year tribulation period foretold to occur just before Christ’s return, the Rapture of the Church (1 Cor.15:51-52 and 1 Thess. 4:15-17) would be prior to this date, i.e. prior to the 7 year tribulation and prior to the Second Coming).
The Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Quaker, etc, reject the idea. of an “ascension/snatching away” (Raptura in the Latin Vulgate – Harpazo in Greek) of Christians to meet Jesus in the Clouds and members of these denominations have never received teaching on this particular potential phenomena. There are three divisions of teaching on this phenomena called PreTrib, MidTrib, and PostTrib.

We must keep in mind that there is no conclusive evidence anywhere in the Bible that God has a 7,000-year plan, or has decided to work in 2,000-year time slots. While these connections are simply speculation, let’s remember it is just a theory. You can decide whether such an exploration has any merit!
Considering almost 2,000 years have passed since Christ’s crucifixion (making a total of nearly 6,000 years—or six millennial days—from Adam), and at this precise juncture in human history mankind stands poised with the ability to blow up and blast out of existence all life on planet Earth, the 7,000-year plan is more believable than ever!
In any case, with Israel being a nation in the land again, and many other prophetic implications ramping up as of late, we know that Jesus will return very soon. The time is short. Dr. David Reagan has an extremely interesting review of the “7000 year plan of God”, entitled The Prophecy of the Week of Millenniums” in Volume XLII Lamplighter, January 2021February, No. 1.
Dr. Reagan mentions the three commands from the Medo/Persian rulers of Babylon where the Jewish population was taken as a conquered nation 70 years prior, and Daniel (see the book of Daniel in the Bible), had come to the conclusion of the 70 years of discipline having come to an end. It is generally concluded by students of prophecy, that the third command to rebuild Jerusalem was given in the year 445 BC.
Dr. Reagan states the following: Using 445 as a starting point, experts on biblical chronology, have concluded that the terminal point of 483 years would be 27 AD at the earliest or 33 AD at the latest. The difference depends on whether you are using a solar year, or 360 day lunar days.”.
(Insert: It is generally understood, God gave Israel a lunar calendar.)
Dr. Reagan mentions that in canonical scripture the Second Coming of the Messiah points our the “judgment” of ungodly sinners. (1 Jude).
1Jude 14:15, Jude 1:14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones
15 to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
Using scripture known as “noncanonical, the Second Book of Enoch, states there will be 7000 years of history and that the beginning of the 8000th year would mark the start of the “Eternal State“. 2 Enoch 33:1.
Dr. Reagan notes that “whether these writings date from the time of Enoch or were written later by someone using his name, they indicate that the idea of 7000 years of human history on the earth is a very old tradition”. (Underlining added)

Question: “What is the Talmud?”
Answer: The word “Talmud” is a Hebrew word meaning “learning, instruction.” The Talmud is a central text of mainstream Judaism and consists primarily of discussions and commentary on Jewish history, law (especially its practical application to life), customs and culture. The Talmud consists of what are known as the Gemara and the Mishnah.
In addition to the inspired written Hebrew scriptures, which Christians call the Old Testament, Judaism has an “Oral Torah” which is a tradition explaining what these scriptures mean and how to interpret them and apply the laws. Orthodox Jews believe God taught this Oral Torah to Moses, and to others, down to the present day. This tradition was maintained only in oral form until about the 2nd century A.D., when the oral law was compiled and written down in a document called the Mishnah. Over the next few centuries, additional commentaries elaborating on the Mishnah were written down in Jerusalem and Babylon. These additional commentaries are known as the Gemara. The Gemara and the Mishnah together are known as the Talmud. This was completed in the 5th century A.D.
There are actually two Talmuds: the Jerusalem Talmud and the Babylonian Talmud. The Babylonian Talmud is more comprehensive, and is the one most people mean if they just say “the Talmud” without specifying which one. The Talmud is not easy to read. There are often gaps in the reasoning where it is assumed that you already know what they are talking about, and concepts are often expressed in a sort of shorthand. Biblical verses that support a teaching are often referenced by only two or three words. The Talmud preserves a variety of views on every issue and does not always clearly identify which view is the accepted one. (Whew).
Christianity does not consider the Talmud to be inspired in the same sense that the 66 books of the biblical canon are “God breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16). While some of the teachings from the Talmud may be “compatible” with biblical teachings, the same can be said for many different writings from many different religions. For the Christian, the study of the Talmud can be a great way to learn more about Jewish tradition, history, and interpretation, but the Talmud is not to be considered the authoritative Word of God.

Question: “What is the Mishnah? What is a midrash?”
Answer: The Mishnah is the oral law in Judaism, as opposed to the written Torah, or the Mosaic Law. The Mishnah was collected and committed to writing about AD 200 and forms part of the Talmud. A particular teaching within the Mishnah is called a midrash.
Orthodox Judaism believes that Moses received the Torah (the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) from God and that he wrote down everything God spoke to him. However, they also believe that God gave Moses explanations and examples of how to interpret the Law that Moses did not write down. These unwritten explanations are known in Judaism as the Oral Torah. The Oral Torah was supposedly passed down from Moses to Joshua and then to the rabbis until the advent of Christianity when it was finally written down as the legal authority called halahka (“the walk”). The two main sections of the Oral Torah are the Mishnah and the Gemara.
The Mishnah (משנה, “repetition”) essentially records the debates of the post-temple sages from AD 70—200 (called the Tannaim) and is considered the first major work of “Rabbinical Judaism.” It is composed of six orders (sedarim), arranged topically:
- Zeraim (“seeds”) – discussions concerning prayer, diet, and agricultural laws
• Moed (“festival”) – discussions about holidays
• Nashim (“women”) – discussions about women and family life
• Nezikin (“damages”) – discussions about damages and compensation in civil law
• Kodashim (“holy things”) – discussions regarding sacrifices, offerings, dedications, and other temple-related matters
• Tohorot (“purities”) – discussions regarding the purity of vessels, foods, dwellings, and people
After the Mishnah was published, it was studied exhaustively by generations of rabbis in both Babylonia and Israel. From AD 200—500, additional commentaries on the Mishnah were compiled and put together as the Gemara. Actually, there are two different versions of the Gemara, one compiled by scholars in Israel (c. AD 400) and the other by the scholars of Babylonia (c. AD 500). Together, the Mishnah and the Gemara form the Talmud. Since there are two different Gemaras, there are two different Talmuds: the Babylonian Talmud and the Jerusalem (or Palestinian) Talmud. The Talmud can be thought of as rabbinical commentaries on the Hebrew Scriptures, just like there are commentaries written on the Bible from a Christian perspective.
In Judaism the Talmud is just as important as the Hebrew Bible. It is used to explain the laws that may not be clear in Scripture. For example, Deuteronomy 21:18–21 is the law governing the punishment of a rebellious son. But what behaviors make a son “rebellious”? The Scripture only mentions gluttony and drunkenness. Are there other behaviors that would be classified as rebellious? What if only one parent thinks the son rebellious? How old does a son have to be to be held accountable for his rebellion? There are many questions that are not directly addressed in the Law, and so the rabbis turn to the Oral Law. The midrash on Deuteronomy 21:18–21 states that both parents must consider the son rebellious for him to be presented to the elders for judgment. The Talmud also states that in order to be considered rebellious the son must be old enough to grow a beard.
A second type of writings in the Talmud is called the Aggadah (also spelled Haggadah). Aggadah are not considered law (halakha) but literature that consists of wisdom and teachings, stories, and parables. The Aggadah are sometimes used with halakha to teach a principle or make a legal point.
For example, one Aggadah tells the story of baby Moses being held by Pharaoh at a banquet. As baby Moses is sitting in Pharaoh’s lap, he reaches up, removes Pharaoh’s crown, and places it on his own head. Pharaoh’s advisers tell him that it is a sign that Moses will one day usurp the king’s authority and that he should kill the baby. But Pharaoh’s daughter, insisting that the baby is innocent, offers a test. She tells her father to place the baby on the ground with both the crown and some hot coals. If the baby Moses takes the crown, he is guilty; but if he takes the hot coals, he is innocent. The Aggadah goes on to say that an angel pushed Moses’ hand to the coals. Moses then burned his mouth with the coal, and that is why Moses was “slow of speech and tongue” as an adult (Exodus 4:10).
There are many Aggadah in the Talmud that are prophetic about the Messiah. One such is the story of the White Ram. It is said that God created a pure White Ram in the Garden of Eden and told him to wait there until God called for him. The White Ram waited until Abraham agreed to sacrifice his son of promise, Isaac. When God stopped the sacrifice of Isaac, God brought the White Ram to be substituted for Isaac. The White Ram, created before the foundations of the earth, was slain, and this anecdote presents a picture of our Messiah as the Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world (1 Peter 1:20; Ephesians 1:4; Revelation 13:8). The White Ram willingly laid down his life for Isaac. Also, the ram’s two horns were made into shofars (trumpets). According to Aggadic tradition, one shofar sounded when God announced Himself to Moses (Exodus 19:19), and the other horn will sound at the coming of the Messiah (see 1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Different sects of Judaism have different views on the Talmud. The Orthodox sect holds that the Oral Law or Talmud is just as inspired as the Bible, but Conservative and Reform Jewish sects do not. Reform and Conservative sects believe they can interpret the Talmud as written by rabbis but are not necessarily required to follow it. Karaite Jews do not follow the Talmud or rabbinic teachings at all but only the Hebrew Bible.
While Messianic Jews and Christians can certainly study the Talmud for background information, we should not take it as inspired Scripture.

Getting back to Dr. David Reagan’s remarks, he details the oldest existing reference to the Week of Millenniums is one found in the Talmud which references a statement attributed to the prophetic school established by the Prophet Elijah: “Six thousand years is the duration of the world. Two thousand of the six thousand years are characterized by chaos, two thousand years are characterized by Torah from the era of the Patriarchs until the end of the mishnaic period. and two thousand years are the coming of the Messiah (Sanhedrin 97A).
This above concept was echoed in a 10th Century midrash, at which point Dr. Reagan lists the 6000 year declamation as listed above, but closing of the last two thousand Messianic years with the words: “He should have come at the beginning of the last 2000 years: the delay is due to our sins”. The “Christian” or “Messianic Christian” however, understands the He (Jesus Messiah) did come but was rejected by the Jewish people.
Rabbi Baruch S. Davidson who is an existing writer for Chabad, an Orthodox Jewish Hasidic movement is noted in agreeing completely with the 7000 year concept for the world and the idea is accepted apparently across all divisions in the Jewish Community.
Church fathers as early as Justin Martyr (100-165 AD) spoke of their belief in 6000 years followed by a Sabbath of rest lasting 1000 years.
Irenaeus, (120-202A.D.) Bishop of Lyons, France, wrote: “For in as many days as this world was made, in so many thousand years shall it be concluded”.
Edward Gibbons, another early well respected writer, in his writing of the Roman Empire, wrote of the 7000 year concept in complete agreement.
Despite it’s early popularity, after 400 AD the Roman Catholic Church accepted the “spiritualizing” interpretation of Origen and Agustine, and adopted an Amillenial viewpoint which argued Jesus was never going to return to earth because of the Pope taking His place.
As people began to obtain copies of Scripture for their own use at their own homes, following The Reformation, a renaissance occurred and a man by the name of W. E. Blackburn wrote a book called “Jesus is Coming” in 1898 which brought back the 7000 year concept in full.
Other distinguished Christian Doctrinal experts are listed in Dr. Reagan’s article.
The existing problem seems to be in determining the date that would give at least an estimate of the time of The Rapture, which at this time (2021) has no pre-existing conditions to occur. The question might be raised, “well what about Eze. 38,39 concerning all the nations around Israel attacking?” The answer would actually be quite simple. Eze. 38,39 might well bring about the seven years of Great Tribulation since all known enemies of Israel are killed by God Himself, and a “man of peace” – someone who could reunite the world to leave Israel alone would be welcomed. However, this man (the Antichrist), could not come unless Holy Spirit God permitted it. We assume that since Holy Spirit God is present in everyone who has believed John 3:16 – fulfilled John 3:3, and who will go up to Heaven with the believer during the Rapture, this action effectively brings about God’s permission for the Antichrist to begin his temporary reign of seven years.
The big question then is this: If we are near the end of the six thousand year mark, why is this the year 5781 on the Jewish Calendar? According to the Talmud, per Dr. Reagan, “the calculation of the Jewish Calendar, was done in the 2nd century AD by Rabbi Yose ben Halafta. His rabbinic chronology is called the ‘Seder Olam Rabbah’. It is almost universally agreed that the Calendar is off by 200 years due to the fact that Rabbi Yose guessed wrong as to the length of the inter-testamental period for which there are no biblical records. This period is referred to as ‘the Persian period’ —-.”
Dr. Reagan writes of a New York attorney, named Mitchell First, who authored a book called, “Jewish History In Conflict”, in 1997. Apparently he points out all the errors in Jewish calendar that “amount to a total of over 200 years”.
Dr. Reagan writes of the primary reason for leaving the errors is first:
“Tradition” and next to give the “sages” of the past, the “benefit of the doubt”. He further notes, the third reason as being the most important although divisive between Messianic Jews, Christians and Orthodox Jews. Dr. Reagan believe that the Jews deliberately have a wrong time line to Daniel 9, in order to “prevent people from using the passage to accurately predict the time when the Messiah would come”.
Dr. Reagan feels the correct Jewish year at the present, should be around 5991. He then goes on to remind us of Matt:24:32-34 and the Parable of the Fig Tree. It is generally understood the fig tree is a symbol that represents Israel. Jesus said that “when the fig tree blossoms again”, the generation that witnesses that event, will be the one that will be living when the Lord returns, (insert i.e. The Rapture, not the Second Coming). Dr. Reagan goes on to mention the fact of the cursing of the barren fig tree the day before Jesus spoke this Parable, indicating Israel and the fig tree “withering” – Matt:21:18-19. The next day Jesus said when the fig tree “blossoms again” – i.e. Israel is re-established as a nation – – He (Jesus) would return.
Hosea 5:15 – 6:3, is detailed as the Messiah returning to heaven and remaining there until the Jewish people acknowledge their guilt in rejecting Him and earnestly “seek His face”. Dr. Reagan assumes the “tribulation” will produce this reaction.
Dr. Reagan concludes with the admonition “are you ready”?, and writes: “If Jesus were to appear in the heavens today to take His Church out of this world before the Great Tribulation, would you be ready?”

How Did America Really Start?
Contrary to a former President, Barack Obama, America has always been a “Christian” nation up to the present time. Along with John’s vision of the beast that is the Antichrist, John saw another beast (Revelation 13:11) who is later identified as the False Prophet (Revelation 19:20).
In the midst of the world wide chaos, the false prophet will use his authority and power to perform unusual signs, deceiving people into false hope and into worshiping an image of the Antichrist (Revelation 13:12-14). Those who refuse to worship the Antichrist will be killed (Revelation 13:15).
Assuming the Rapture occurs, the world’s economy will crash. The False Prophet along with the Antichrist will stabilize it with strict control over who can buy and sell. Every man, woman, and child will receive a mark, without which one cannot participate. This will lead to great suffering for those who refuse it. (Revelation 13:17-18).
There is a question as to whether Antichrist should be viewed as a person, as an influence, or as a religious system. Believers have debated this through the ages.
The only problem this writer sees viewing America as the False Prophet is this: Re 19:20 “But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.”
Could this mean the President of America will represent the False Prophet? Otherwise throwing the entire nation of America into burning sulfur just doesn’t add up. Let’s examine this a little more:
America In Bible Prophecy
While the American President does not appear to be the Antichrist, (at the time of this writing , America definitely plays an extremely significant role in the end times. So let’s look at who may be the true Antichrist today and America’s role in Bible prophecy.
In Revelation chapter 13 we find two beasts.
The first beast (Revelation 13:1) comes out of the sea (many people) and the second beast (Revelation 13:11) out of the earth. The first beast is also known as the Antichrist and is synonymous with the little horn in Daniel chapter 7, but the second beast that comes out of the earth (few people) is a kingdom ruled by two horns (powers) that gives power back to the Antichrist and sets up an image to the first beast that all must worship or they cannot buy and sell and ultimately will lose their life.
All the early Protestants believed as follows:
John said that in his time there were MANY Antichrists and that anyone that denies Jesus came in the flesh is antichrist. 2 John 1:7.
This would include a Church that denies Jesus came in the flesh by insisting that Christ took on the sinless nature of Mary’s flesh. Jesus is considered “perfect” because He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and His mother was a virgin. Mary was not perfect. The Roman Catholic’s have a celebration called “The Immaculate Conception”, but this does not refer to Jesus. It refers to Mary. It is not in the Holy Bible including the Roman Catholic Bible.
Roman Catholics believe there is the Bible and then there is Tradition, the latter conceived by mankind. Roman Catholics also have a celebration of Mary’s Assumption. This means she ascended just as Jesus did. Again, not in the Holy Bible, nor the Roman Catholic Bible.
This is what Paul was talking about in 2nd Thessalonians 2:3 – when the simplicity of the Good News of Jesus being our Redeemer would be taken away and this “falling away” is due to man-made traditions, false theories and unbiblical practices. The “son of perdition” and that “mystery of lawlessness” he talks about in 2nd Thessalonians 2:3, 4, 7 and 1 Cor. 3:16, is quite possibly both about the Papacy and the lawlessness of End Time America, which Americans saw starting with its President Obama, his corrupt DOJ, and generally all of its hierarchy/government since his predecessor, “Slick Willie”, AKA Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary who are closely identified as Ahab and Jezebel of the Old Testament by Cahn. (12) This has progressed behind the scenes to a spirit of lawlessness in the streets, consistently only in DFL controlled cities (Governor/Mayor), with rapes, murder, burning, looting, etc. with no DFL response of any kind.
Publications and video’s show the majority of theologians feel the end-time Pope in Rome, will be the False Prophet. And, of course, the existing Pope of 2020 certainly appears as a religious lamb, yet speaks as a dragon.

America and the Second Beast of Revelation
Just hours before George W. Bush beat John Kerry on November 2 of 2004, an Associated Press article declared the following:
Statements such as “A day that will decide the fate of the world” and “The planet’s destiny is decided in large part by America” are not minor sentences.
What happens in Washington DC affects the entire globe. In this light we inquire: Is America mentioned in Bible prophecy, or has God’s Word overlooked the world’s only superpower?
Many prophecy writers emphatically state that we are not there. They see the US fading into oblivion under a supposedly future New World Order dominated by the United Nations. Professor Walter J. Dr. Veith wishes to suggest the possibility that America is the exact power specifically mentioned in this following mysterious verse: Revelation 13:11
He asked to “allow me to build a case”. First, what is a “beast”? Answer: A great nation. The proofs are found in Daniel 7, a chapter that clearly parallels Revelation 13. Chapters talk about beasts, ten horns, a mouth speaking great things, and war on the saints (see Daniel 7:3-8, 21 and Revelation 13:1-7).
Daniel 7 describes four beasts: the lion, bear, leopard and dragon like beast.
Revelation 17:15 “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues.”
Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome all rose from the midst of a sea of peoples in Europe and the Middle East. Not so with the beast in Revelation 13:11 as it comes from the earth. This points to a great nation rising out of a sparsely inhabited area.
Revelation 13:11 “I saw another beast coming out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb.”
Each word is very significant. The true Lamb of course is Jesus. “Like a lamb,” indicates this nation would have lamb-like or Jesus features. A lamb is a young animal, a baby sheep. Thus this nation would at one time be youthful and new.
Significantly, its “two horns” have no crowns like the first beast in Revelation 13:2. Crowns represent kingly power. Thus we have a new nation, with Christian features, rising out of a sparsely inhabited area, with a government without kingly power. We also know what time this occurred. You will note that this second beast of Revelation that comes out of the earth rises after the first beast of Revelation receives the deadly head wound which occurred in 1798.
So what nation was starting out in the late 1700’s? Are the pieces starting to come together yet?”
Let’s go back to Revelations 12 which reveals Satan pursuing God’s true Church, through the Papacy, into the wilderness for 1260 dark years to avoid the murderous persecution of the Papal Church, but the “earth” (referring to the beast from the earth) opens up a refuge for those fleeing the persecution. Thus what we have is a nation that began with people that were fleeing from the Papal persecution.
What nation did these Jews and Protestants flea to and make a declaration that Church and state should never again be combined?
What nation other than Israel was dedicated to God as it began?
Revelation 12:14-16 “And to the woman [Church] were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, [42 months] from the face of the serpent. [Satan] 15 And the serpent [Satan] cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman [Church], that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood [persecution]. 16 And the earth [unpopulated area] helped the woman [Church], and the earth opened her mouth, [a nation provided a place of refuge for those fleeing persecution] and swallowed up the flood [persecution] which the dragon [Satan] cast out of his mouth.” Parenthesis added.
Revelation 13 also reveals that this exact nation will finally achieve superpower status during the last moments of time, make a major mistake, and lead out in the global enforcement of the mark of the beast.
Revelation 13:16-17 “And he [the lamb-like beast] causes [he resorts to force] all [his power becomes global], both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their forehead, that no man might buy or sell [the world’s economy is involved] except the one who has the mark.”
And finally the above two verses parallel the last part of Revelation 13:11 describing the final, tragic act of the lamb like beast, “he spoke like a dragon.”
Now let’s recap Revelation 13 revealing the identity of both the first and the second beast.
Revelation 13:1-10 These six points reveal that the Antichrist leopard like beast could represent the Roman Church:
- Revelation 13:1—Antichrist rises from the sea (from a populated area. Revelation 17:15).
2. Revelation 13:2—Antichrist receives the SEAT of its government from pagan Rome.
3. Revelation 13:5—Antichrist blasphemously claims the POWER of God (Luke 5:20-21).
4. Revelation 13:7—Antichrist PERSECUTES the saints (believers).
5. Revelation 13:5—Antichrist reigns supreme for 42 months = 1,260 prophetic days or 1260 literal years (from 538 to 1798).
6. Revelation 13:18—Antichrist is with the mysterious number 666.
Revelation 13:10 The second beast arises at the SAME TIME the first beast goes into captivity, or late 1700’s. It is a separate power.
Revelation 13:11 The second beast rises rapidly from an UNPOPULATED area, “the earth.”
Revelation 13:11 The second beast has two horns with NO CROWNS. It has no king. It is not an autocratic dictatorship but a DEMOCRACY, saying to the people that “they” should make an image to the first beast. (Revelation 13:14)
Revelation 13:11 The second beast is a young beast, a youthful power, full of freedom and innocence, a NEW nation. (Remember a beast represents a nation (kingdom), although Rome is certainly a nation.
Daniel 7:17; 7:23) In this prophecy:
- A NEW nation arises
2. Around late 1700’s
3. In an UNPOPULATED area
4. Without kingly authority
5. Governed by the people. It has the lamb like quality of Jesus, allowing its people freedom of choice.

The ONLY nation that fits ALL of the above prophetic specifications is the UNITED STATES.
Nevertheless, the majority of theologians feel the end-time Pope in Rome, will be the False Prophet.
Possibility: Revelation 13:11-12 The features of the lamb-like beast rapidly turn into a DRAGON. Religious liberty is followed by religious oppression.
Revelation 13:12 The second beast, (the False Prophet) the UNITED STATES, gives its influence to the first beast, the Antichrist, and becomes the enforcer nation with a UNION of Church and state.
Revelation 13:12 The central issue in the final conflict may be “WORSHIP” which is currently forbidden/limited in most states supposedly due to the Wuhan Communist China virus.
(See Revelation 14:7-12) The Sabbath is God’s eternal SIGN of true worship of Him as CREATOR.
Revelation 13:13-14 Satan will use MIRACULOUS SIGNS and WONDERS at a time of international crisis to forge a UNION of Church and state which will violently oppose and oppress God’s people. (See Revelation 16:14 and 2 Thessalonians 2:9)
Revelation 12:17 God’s “faithful” people will not yield to the coercive pressure to violate God’s law.
HOWEVER:
Another possible interpretation revolved around the fact of Rome (The Papacy) having two horns of power – both spiritual and political. This theory lacks the “newness” of the False Prophet coming from the earth.
AND A FINAL HOWEVER:
There is also a tradition the Antichrist will come from the tribe of Dan based on a prophecy from Genesis 49:17 and the fact that the tribe of Dan is not sealed in the Great Tribulation (Rev. 7:4-8). This changes the entire outlook. With all the attention being centered on identifying the Antichrist, very little has been said about the false prophet.

THE LAST SEVEN YEARS OF THIS CURRENT AGE
Back to Daniel 9:26-27, (Note: the signal for the Tribulation to begin is not the Rapture – It is the Antichrist signing the treaty.)
We noted above, the last seven years will most likely not begin until the Holy Spirit “restrainer” – 2nd Thess. 3:6 (who is found in all Christians/Messianic Jews) steps aside or a “Rapture” occurs, or both. Should this occur, the world would be in a state of chaos, which might cause Russia and her Muslim allies to “go for it” and invade Israel. Assuming Almighty God (El Shaddai) intervenes as noted in Eze. 38, there would no longer be a Muslim or any other nation to oppose a “7 year peace treaty” which brings us to the next step. This seven year peace treaty would guarantee no one will come against Israel – and Ezekial noted these “things” would come to pass in the “latter” days.
Over the last twenty years or so, there has been tremendous disagreement regarding the lineage of the Antichrist, some such as Farah feeling it has to be a Muslim, whereas another such as Rhodes in his book, “The End Times in Chronological Order”, and others stating a Muslim would never claim to be God since it would trash the Muslim creed.
Rhodes writes “A Muslim Antichrist would be considered an Infidel because the word “Christ” represents the Son of God”, (Note: Due to Ishmael being sent away by Abraham as a teenager, (after God told Abraham to do this), Ishmael’s testimony very possibly led the creators of Islam to disbelieve in any such thing as a “Son” of God, i.e. Islam believes in the God of Abraham and Ishmael/Mohammed per their understanding, whereas Israel and the rest of the non-agnostic world understand a belief in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and so on.
Many people characterize the God of the Old Testament as a God of Judgment and the God of the New Testament as a God of love. Scripture reveals He is still both and was the same early on and now, (Mal 3:6 “I the LORD do not change.”
John 16:33, tells of of Jesus saying, “in this world you will have tribulation”. However, the End Time Tribulation is distinct. In Matt. 24:21 Yeshua (Jesus) described it as “of such severity that no period in history, now or past or future, will equal it, and verse 22: “for the sake of the elect, it will be shortened, as no flesh could survive it. It is called the time of Jacob’s trouble, for it is a Judgment on Messiah-rejecting Israel–Jeremiah 30:7 Daniel 12:1-4.
Yet all the nations of the world will be judged for their sin and rejection of Yeshua (Jesus). (Isa. 26:21, and Rev. 6: 15-17)
Although again, there is disagreement, many feel the Kingdom into which the Antichrist will come to govern is initially represented by a ten nation confederacy. such as the EU may become.
Scripture: “Dan: 7:24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.”
Compare the following Scripture to the above:
Re 13:1 And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.
2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

This leads us to consider the formation by the Antichrist of the “Unholy Trinity” noted in various scriptures: The answer to the question of “who or what is the two horned beast of Revelation 13 is amazingly complex based on the number of varying answers.
Some commentators are extremely dogmatic and insist upon one of these:

The United States
Islam in control of the U.S.
Israel and the British Mandate
Predating Wicca’s male and female aspects of an antlered anthropomorphic god. (Insert: Whoa!)
The first Beast is a political power and the second Beast is the Antichrist.
Just the opposite of above.
It could be America, but it could be a nation that is born in the future.

Daniel 7:25 – Time, Times, and half a Time
By Napoleon’s orders, the papacy was completely eliminated in 1798, by one of his generals named Berthier. The existing Pope was taken into captivity, much as the “pope” had caused much captivity in the Dark Ages with the killing of 100 million non- Catholics or Jews, i.e. “the persecution of the saints”. Eventually this Pope died in captivity.
This writer believes these events were a fulfillment of prophecy from Daniel 7:25 that stated there would be 3.5 years, 42 months or 1,260 days/years – of literal papal rule. This time began in 476 A.D. with a decree of the emperor Justinian establishing the Bishop of Rome as head of all Churches with no separation of Church and State. This decree went into effect in 538 A.D.
538 A.D. is the beginning of the literal spiritual/political Papal rule. Return — TO THE JEW FIRST
Article VI ends with a temporary discourse of various writers in regard to the early Christian Church.
The following returns To The Jew First.
The Jews had been dispersed following the destruction of Jerusalem:
August 2, 1492 was the day Queen Isabella I of Castile, Spain and King Ferdinand of Aragon expelled the Jews. Specifically, a ship of Sephardic Jews — those who had lived in the Iberian Peninsula — made its way out of Spanish waters. The ship held the last Jews legally allowed in Spain, after they endured a terrible forced exodus from their homes, leaving behind all possessions. A very extensive history will reveal actions taken again the Jews to be very similar to those taken by Hitler.
The year 1492 is extremely important to Jews due to expulsion and the Spanish Inquisition in which Jews were forcibly converted to Catholicism by an individual named Father Tomas de Torquemada.
Some of the more fortunate expelled Jews were able to go to Turkey (which was secular at the time), others to surrounding nations most of whom did not welcome them and some were able to obtain passage on the ships used by Christopher Columbus, (Nina, Pinta or Santa Maria). Other ship Captain’s charged outrageous prices for travel and then threw the Jews overboard once they were away from the land.
Genesis 12 and the Blessings/Curses declaration of God came into effect and the formerly “Great” Spanish Empire, became a shadow of what it had been.
(A history of the Jews across the world from 1492 to 1900 is greatly in depth – any discourse would simply be too large for this writing.)
In 1917, a Jubilee Year for the Jews, the Balfour Declaration came from the Prime Minister of England, who happened to be a Christian aware of God’s love for Israel. This declaration took place just after World War I and declared Israel to be the land for the Jews.
England further reinforced this statement by conquering the land which was held by the Ottoman Muslim Empire. A man named General Edmund Allenby was successful in this endeavor. General Allenby traveled from the direction of Jacob’s Wells, which Abraham purchased (Genesis 33:19).
Once again going back to Genesis 12, Britain blessed the Jews, God blessed Britain, therefore Britain became the British Empire and extended throughout various areas of the world. However, around the time of World War II, the British Empire apparently began to persecute the Jews.
Then after the death of 6 million Jews in Germany by Hitler who was defeated in World War II, (with the loss of 60 million Gentiles and some Jews fighting as American Troops) an American President died.
The Vice President was raised to the Presidency. This was a man named Harry Truman, who had been instructed in Bible stories from a young age.
While serving in the Armed Forces as Harry Truman, he met a Jewish man and they became best friends. Following the war they tried opening various businesses, which unfortunately all failed.
Upon becoming President, Harry Truman insisted the United Nations must make Israel a nation, thus fulfilling the prophecy of Isa 66:8 “Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?”:-
President Truman was visited by the Chief Rabbi of Israel, who told him “God placed you in your Mother’s womb for such a time as this”. President Truman cried. He also had a sign made up for his desk that said, “I am Cyrus”, referring to the release of the Jews in Babylonian captivity.
The next Jubilee year for the Jews was 1917 plus fifty = 1967. At this moment in time Israel was to be invaded by all the nations surrounding it. However, due to superior intelligence, Israel attacked by air at 7:15 a.m., flying below radar, completely destroying the enemy forces of air (airplanes, etc.). Utilizing World War II weapons, after six days of war, (with God’s supernatural intervention) for the first time in many centuries, the Jews walked freely in Jerusalem, their capital city called by God, the “Apple of My Eye”.
Scripture:
” Zec 2:8 For this is what the LORD Almighty says: “After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you– for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye–“
Fifty years plus 1967 = 2017. At the time of the Jubilee the Trump must sound. Almost going over the time line, during the last month of the year, President Donald Trump sounded the Trump by declaring Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel. Worthy of mention is the fact that President Trump was born seventy years before taking office during the time of President Truman’s taking office. President Trump was seventy years, 7 months & 7 days old on his first day in office 2017 in God’s Hebrew year 5777.
The United States, China, and Russia are the leaders in the world of 2020 regarding power. Israel in the few years since God began calling Jews back to Israel is number 8, which is amazing considering it’s physical size. It is ranked 18 out of 138 in Defense.
Amos 9:15 states Israel will never be dispersed again. Unfortunately, most are coming back in “unbelief”, i.e. do not believe the Messiah has yet come.
Daniel’s time line of sixty two weeks of years leaves us with seven weeks of years to make up what is called the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble”, or The Tribulation.
There is some postulation that because Eze. 37, 38 have not yet occurred, as they do occur and as Israel sees the “God of heaven” in these supernatural events, (see below) they may still wish to end all possibilities of war and sign a “strong covenant”, with someone who comes to power quickly, who might be the Messiah, and seems the perfect coordinator for peace.
Scripture: “Eze 38:21 I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. 23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'” (Insert: Gog=ruler and see Genesis 10:1-2 re. Magog as a person who dwelled in the area now called Russia.)
On the other hand, the absence of all Christians and Messianic Jews through a supernatural phenomena called “The Rapture” (discussed near the end of this publication entitled: Part II – WHY IS ALL THIS STUFF HAPPENING? – THE RAPTURE) may well trigger the “strong delusion” spoken of in:
Scripture: “2Th 2:9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders,10 and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”
Delusion: “they were all abducted by aliens in flying saucers”. “I think I saw a flash”
SCRIPTURE AND FULFILLMENT
The 1948 Prophecy
Isaiah 66:8, “Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once?”
Isaiah 66:8 is commonly referred to as the 1948 prophecy, (effected via President Harry Truman as noted above), because it is the year that Israel became a nation again (May 14, 1948). This was a major event on God’s prophetic timeline, as it is the foundation prophecy that “opens the door” for all of the other end of the age prophecies to be fulfilled, including Messiah’s Second Coming.
The 1967 Prophecy
Isaiah 66:8-9, “For as soon as Zion (Jerusalem) was in labor, she gave birth to her children. Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the Lord. “Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.”
Psalm 102:16,18, “For the Lord shall build up Zion (Jerusalem); He shall appear in His glory. The prophet declares that when the Lord builds up Zion (Jerusalem), He (Yeshua) will appear in His glory. He continues to state, “this is written for the generation to come.”
This is a prophecy of Messiah’s Second Coming, as it correlates with similar descriptions by Zechariah and John the Revelator (Zechariah 14, Revelation 14:14-20, Revelation 19:11-16).
After Isaiah prophesies of Israel becoming a nation again (Isaiah 66:8), and also the children of Israel recapturing Jerusalem as their capital (Isaiah 66:8-9, Psalm 102:16,18), he continues God’s prophetic timeline with a prophecy of Messiah’s Second Coming.
Isaiah states “Isaiah 66:14-16, “When you see this,” which means when you see Israel become a nation again (1948) and the children of Israel recapture Jerusalem as their capital (1967), “the Lord will come with fire and with His chariots, like a whirlwind, to render anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by His sword the Lord will judge all flesh; And the slain of the Lord shall be many.”
Keep in mind, this prophecy was written approximately 3,000 years ago, so the “generation to come” is the 1967 generation. In other words, the prophet is declaring that when the children of Israel recapture Jerusalem as their capital, which occurred on June 5-10, 1967, and when the Lord builds up Zion, which has occurred to such an amazing extent as noted above and here: (Hebrew language, science, natural resources, military, medicine (cures for diseases), settlements, desert blossoming like a rose, et cetera), – then Messiah will appear in His glory, which is His Second Coming!

Why is all this stuff happening – Article VI
The following pages deviate somewhat from the Israel Perspective (To the Jew First) and contribute to the beginnings of the Christian Church on earth. However, Gentiles must keep in mind, the time considered would not have begun without it being started by Jews who believed Yeshua was the Messiah.
A Prophecy Come to Pass!
At this point we need to note an amazing prophecy. Daniel 7:25 foretold, “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws.”
Quoting Daniel 7:25, Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible says:
“He shall speak great words against the Most High] Literally, Sermones quasi Deus loquetur; “He shall speak as if he were God.” So Jerome quotes from Symmachus. To none can this apply so well or so fully as to the popes of Rome.”
“They have assumed infallibility, which belongs only to God. They profess to forgive sins, which belongs only to God. They profess to open and shut heaven, which belongs only to God. They profess to be higher than all the kings of the earth, which belongs only to God.”
“And they go beyond God in pretending to loose whole nations from their oath of allegiance to their kings, when such kings do not please them! And they go against God when they give indulgences for sin. This is the worst of all blasphemies!”

“Witness the exterminating crusades against the Waldenses and Albigenses. Witness John Huss, and Jerome of Prague. Witness the Smithfield fires in England! Witness God and man against this bloody, persecuting, ruthless, and impure Church!”
“And they think to change times and laws! Appointing fasts and feasts; canonizing persons whom they chooses to call saints; granting pardons and indulgences for sins; instituting new modes of worship utterly unknown to the Christian Church; new articles of faith; new rules of practice; and reversing, with pleasure, the laws both of God and man.–Dodd” (Emphasis his; Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible, Volume IV, p. 594).
Beyond the facade of “peaceful” religions is a ever increasing growing demonic purpose leading to a One World Religion which would include all known religions on earth.
The End of the Reformation
On March 29, 1994, American Evangelicals and Catholics signed a joint declaration titled “Evangelicals and Catholics Together; The Christian Mission in the 3rd Millennium. This document overturned the Reformation entirely. It urged evangelicals and Catholics to stop evangelizing each other and to accept each other as “Christians”. These “sects” were seen by a Bishop Bohn, as a serious threat to the Vatican’s influence in Brazil.
A holy war was considered. Bohn said that “an all out holy war cannot be avoided unless the 13 largest Protestant churches and denominations sign a treaty…that would require Protestants to stop all evangelism efforts in Brazil. In exchange, he said, Catholics would agree to stop all persecution directed toward Protestants”, which he admits is official policy – the persecution that is.
Signers of this declaration were as follows:
Charles Colson, Pat Robertson, John White (president of Geneva College and former president of the National Association of Evangelicals, head of the Home Mission Board and Christian Life Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, Bill Bright – founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, Mark Nol of Wheaton University, Jesse Miranda (Assemblies of God), Richard Mouw, (President Fuller Theological Seminary, J. I. Packer and Herbert Schlossberg.
It should be noted, the question of “what does it mean to be a “Christian” is not addressed.
These items are to be questioned, because of the following statements by the Roman Catholic Church:
“No civil government, be it a monarchy, an aristocracy, a democracy … can be a wise, just, efficient, or durable government, governing for the good of the community, within the Catholic Church; and without the papacy there is and can be no Catholic Church” per H.J. Schroeder, O.P., trans., The Canons and Decrees of the Council of Trent, Tan Books, 1978, p. 46.
“If anyone says that in order to obtain the remission of sins it is necessary …to believe with certainly and without any hesitation….that his sins are forgiven him, let him be anathema” (Council of Trent, Six, XVI, (14).
“If anyone says that after the reception of the grace of justification the guilt is so remitted and the debt of eternal punishment so blotted out to every repentant sinner, that no debt of temporal punishment remains to be discharged, either in this world or in purgatory before the gates of heaven can be open, let him be anathema”(9).
Pope Boniface VIII, wrote “There is one holy Catholic and apostolic church, outside of which there is no salvation… it is altogether necessary for every creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff. – From his Papal Bull, Unan Sanctum, A.D. 1302.
In Sept. 2000, Pope John Paul II, reaffirmed that there is salvation only in the Roman Catholic Church in his “Dominus Jesus” 36 page document.
The Pope in 2008, Benedict XVI reiterated this view in July of 2007 and the Protestant world was silent. The Islam world became upset and Pope Benedict appeased them with apologies.
Bishop Fulton J. Sheen predicted that Islam would be Christian (Roman Catholic), “though a summoning of the Moslems to a veneration of the Mother of God”. He said “The Koran…has many passages concerning the Blessed Virgin. First of all, the Koran believes in her Immaculate Conception and also in her Virgin Birth…Mary, then, is for the Muslims the true Sayyida, or Lady.
The only possible serious rival to her in their creed would be Fatima, the daughter of Mohammed himself. But after the death of Fatima, Mohammed wrote: ‘Thou shalt be the most blessed of all the women in Paradise, after Mary’.
Sheen goes on to say how “remarkable” it was that “our Lady” had the foresight to appear in the Portuguese village of Fatima (named after Muhammad’s daughter during the Muslim occupation) and thus become known as “our Lady of Fatima”. It is a fact that when a statue of “Our Lady of Fatima” is carried through Muslim areas of Africa, India, and elsewhere,
Muslims turn out by the hundreds of thousands to worship her. In two days an estimated 500,000 came to give their respects to this idol in Bombay, India. Admit that you are a sinner (made a lot of really bad mistakes) and need forgiveness from up on high.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave to bring you to God.
Confess, through prayer, that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, and commit to live for Him the rest of your life.
Here are some words from the Holy Bible (New International Version) that talk about our problem.
God loves you and wants a personal relationship with you. (John 3:16 NIV)
Our sin keeps us from having a personal relationship with God. (Romans 3:23 NIV)

Why is all this stuff happening – Article V
The Roman Empire is divided:
In 285 AD, Emperor Diocletian decided that the Roman Empire was too big to manage. He divided the Empire into two parts, the Eastern Roman Empire and the Western Roman Empire. Over the next hundred years or so, Rome would be reunited, split into three parts, and split in two again. Finally, in 395 AD, the empire was split into two for good. The Western Empire was ruled by Rome, the Eastern Empire was ruled by Constantinople.
There are a number of accounts in attempting to describe the sixth century initiation of Islam, including that of Allah being the Moongod, since the symbol of Moongod worship for all of known history has been a crescent moon symbol, which is present now on the flag of Islamic believers.

“Pre-Islamic Arabia, also known as Jahilliah, (the time of ignorance) had more gods, the Kaaba in Mecca, the Haj…virtually all the customs associated with the Haj…and “Allah”, which was the name of the largest rock in the Kaaba.
The primary deity for Arabs in the time of Jahilliah was “Hubal”. Allah was not the primary deity. When Mohammad started preaching his “religion”, he was mocked by the people of Mecca, they said “Mohammad is trying to make one god out of many.”
Pre-Islam, the Kaaba was known as ‘The House of Hubal’ and literally hundreds of separate religious icons were housed there for safekeeping. Annually, tribes and clans would send representatives to Mecca to pay tribute to their tribe’s favorite god. The trip was expensive, particularly food, water and lodging in Mecca, with the keeper of the Kaaba being the main beneficiary of the wealth that poured in.
Mohammad’s grandfather was Keeper of the House of Hubal and a wealthy man. His father was also fairly well off, but Mohammad was orphaned and was denied any piece of what was the family business. Again, worthy of note:
— “Allah” was not the “chief deity” in pre-Islamic Arabia.”
The city of Istanbul (Islam controlled) was renamed Constantinople when the Emperor Constantinople retired there. It was eventually a “Christian” city and numerous churches were constructed. One was called: Hagia Sophia, which in the year 2020 was once again taken by Islam to be used as a mosque, (after around 2000 years), suggesting Christianity must return to its “roots” of Pentecost just as Jews must make Alliyah (“return to God”) to Israel.
The City of Rome is permeated by area defeat
The city of Rome was thought to be unconquerable in all areas. However, in 410 AD, a Germanic barbarian tribe called the Visigoths invaded the city. They looted the treasures, killed and enslaved many Romans, and destroyed many buildings. This was the first time in 800 years that the city of Rome had been attacked and lost (although not entirely).
In 476 AD, a Germanic barbarian by the name of Odoacer took control of a portion of Rome. He became king of Italy and forced the last emperor of Rome, Romulus Augustulus, to give up his crown. Many historians consider this to be the end of the Roman Empire.
Two other “tribes” from a total of ten, invaded and conquered other areas of the Roman Empire causing a dispersion.
Of all the Germanic kingdoms, the Vandals, Heruli, and Ostrogoths posed the greatest hindrance to the development of the papacy.
They were eliminated by the papacy allowing for unchallenged papal supremacy in 538. After that, all the Arian kingdoms were eventually forced to become Roman Catholic.
The Dark Ages Begin
During the Dark Ages, Crusaders were sent from Rome in response to Muslim atrocities. They killed Jews, Muslims, and anyone who disagreed with the Roman Catholic concept of “Christianity”. There were seven total Crusades. On the first one, the Jews in Jerusalem all fled to the synagogue, (men, women and children), and they were burned alive there. The Crusaders (who had obtained advance absolution in Rome from the Pope (at that time) for any sins they might commit) marched around the synagogue and sang, “Christ, we adore Thee”, while 969 Jews screamed and burned. After the next six Crusades came the Inquisition, which included the elimination of Jews in Spain and other countries “over there”, plus the elimination of anyone who did not agree with Rome including Gentiles.
This Inquisition came from the Pope in Rome who at the time was named Pope Sixtus IV.
323,362 Jewish people were burned alive. The reader (especially if the reader is a “Protestant”) must understand the above occurred prior to any reforms and all Roman Catholics were also simply called “Christians”. Or, all “Christians” were Roman Catholic unless they disagreed with Rome, in which case they were killed. Therefore “Christians” committed these atrocities. It is not this writer’s intent to disparage all Roman Catholics. The Apostles Creed, Athanasian Creed, and The Lord’s Prayer stand as a witness between all followers of Yeshua/Jesus as a few things they can agree upon.
Many Bible prophecies are “dual” in nature—that is, they have a type and antitype, an earlier and a later fulfillment. Though speaking specifically of the soon-coming antichrist, we can see the forerunner type documented in history.
