An Encouraging Word
And in every province where the king’s command and decree arrived, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes. (Esther 4:3 nkjv)
We do not live in the times of Esther. We live in the times of America. But the principles are the same: pray, fast and obey the Lord. They are all there. In Esther they cried out to God in fasting and weeping… with great humility. Many began even before Esther called for the three days’ fast. It was the first thing they ran to when startled with the news…
…And God answered and turned the times. Great humility brought the hand of God. Times were changed- not by man’s weapons of war but by greater humility… depending on Him to change the course.
Do we not believe God can do this thing? God changes the hearts of politicians, destroys strongholds, saves and delivers as we call earnestly upon His name, and in great humility.
There are things rising up in this nation we do not see. Pray, fast and obey Him. Let’s earnestly seek the One who is able, and persevere; for the blessing and breakthrough come as we do… even in our own lives and churches.
He is able. Let’s dig in.
It will affect the lives of many others.

“And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down to the ground,
and put his face between his knees” …and it affected a nation.
(1 Kings 18:42 nkjv)
