A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”
And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Acts 16:9 nkjv
God spoke. And Paul obeyed. And God’s will went forward. When we hear the voice of the Lord speak to us, let’s follow Him and obey. Walk in faith, trusting that He has a plan for it. He sees farther than we do, the whole… and the beginning and the end. Our sight is limited but His sight is perfect and vast.
Though not what Paul expected or what he was planning, when he sensed the Lord speak, he followed quickly. And God worked a work through it that wouldn’t have been done then without.
Some time ago, I also felt the Lord speak to my own heart, leading me out of the normal and into something uncommon and new. And in a dream this song came: “Trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.”
God sees perfectly. Be encouraged to walk by faith and trust Him in all things. He is the good Lord, our good Father, the One who sees perfectly and has a desire to bring good through it… for you, for me, and for others. He has a good plan. Let’s pray, fast and obey Him where He leads, listening to His Spirit.
(And for the people in France, let’s pray also for their salvation, that their comfort will be eternal and not only in this life. And pray: for breakthrough for those fighting terrorism in our nation and overseas, to uncover sinister plans of evil… and draw people to Christ.)
