Prayer requires time and cost, more than most people are willing to pay.
“Whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for. it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in My name. I am there with them.” (Matthew 18: 19 20 TEV)

IN A PRAYER GROUP Let it always be voluntary. though the church may organize opportunity. Let it be spontaneous prayer. though the group may encourage conversation. Let it grow—into Bible study. into a witnessing group. into a service group. Let It be honest confessing. praising asking.
IN A PRAYER PARTNERSHIP Let the time be agreeable to both. but keep the discipline. Let there be a joint list but discuss it. Let it be over the telephone or in complete privacy.
5. WHAT TO PRAY FOR
Genuine faith in Christ is a living active dynamic thing. It must and will express itself in prayer. There is no genuine discipleship without discipline. A single sentence may be a prayer, as may be a spear of thought sent heavenward.
